This family owned business is very honest and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and helped us install a new water heater. Over the years they're the first company I call when I have any questions on plumbing needs. Thanks Brent and family!

They did a great job of testing the water and then explaining the options. My wife really water the acid neutralizer they explained that the acidity was only slightly above normal and within code but my wife really wanted it so we went with it. We are happy with the dual tank system that calculates the actual water used and not just on a timer the way the old system was. It works much better and with the dual tank There are no issues with when the tank rejuvenates, it automatically switches to the other tank so you don't have to worry about what time of day the tank rejuvenates.

So the person shows up and changes the toilet flapper in 2 minutes and leaves without informing that there will be an additional charge. I presumed that it was an all inclusive charge. However I'm sent an invoice subsequently for 54.97 stating that it is the cost of the technician's labor and parts. I'm very disappointed and would appreciate if Angie's list stopped posting such kind of offers which are more tricking someone to believe they are only paying a small amount and then get a surprise later.

MAIN SEWER LINE 100' LONG and 10' DOWN
Called Tri-County because had sewer back up into the house. Was told by
another company that my main sewer line was and quot;Belliedand quot; for 29' and also
cracked. I priced this job out to almost 10 vendors. Tri-County's
estamate was right in the ball park. The reason I chose Tri-County was
the level of professionalism that Brent showed. He also had additional
ideas regarding my down spots and sump pump discharge. He also re-routed
these lines underground.
The level of work was top notch. They
came on a Monday and finished by Tuesday. Brent's father and his crew
were extremly friendly and approachable. He performed work outside the
scope of the work order by addiding additional points of entry in the
sewer line for later dates. This is the type of forward and outside the
box thinking that they bring to the table.
I would most
certainly recommend Tri-County to anyone looking for an A+ job and peace
of mind.
GREAT JOB BRENT, BILL, and DAN.

On Thursday I was in the shower, shampoo in my hair and soap everywhere else. As I turned to the shower head to get rinsed, the water stopped coming out. Being on a well, I knew I had a serious issue. After calling friends and then going to Angie’s List for information I found Tri-County Water Service in my Hometown. I prefer using local businesses and was thrilled to find them rated well on Angie's List.
I called the number and when I punched one for an emergency I was immediately put in touch with the contact person (Brett Hershey) listed on Angie’s List. He listened to my issue, asked questions and returned my call within minutes to say that his father, Dave, would be out between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
Dave arrived on time and determined that my old, shallow well pump had seized up and would need to be replaced. We discussed several options and decided that for my needs, he would replace the jet pump with a submersible and we would bring the pressure tank inside the house. He quoted me a ballpark figure and arranged to return the next morning to hook everything up.
Dave and Bill arrived around 8:30 AM and went right to work. They removed the old pump from the well pit as well as the relatively new pressure tank. They pulled the line from the well casing, installed the submersible on the end of a new line before placing it back into
the well. Once done there, they came inside to hook up the pressure tank and get everything else set up. They even replaced a short piece of wiring that they were not happy re-using so that the job would be done the right way.
Within four hours, I once again had water. They did it right. The pump is direct wired into the breaker box, no more switch in the well pit. The line into the well was reduced in diameter and the pump is more powerful which will result in better water pressure here. There is a 5 year warranty on the pump and they had to give me an upgrade as they suddenly had a rash of pump replacements and the one they had available to install was a better one than the one they quoted me but kept the quoted price.
They tore apart, put back together, tested and cleaned up, leaving me with running water and a grateful heart for such fast and expert
service.

I have a project in mind that I will be calling him for in the next few months. I like that he let me help with the job, he answered all of the questions I had, he came in at budget, and he charged an acceptable price. He generally goes beyond the call of duty; he didn’t charge me for installing a faucet the second time because I hadn’t liked it.

Dan dug 3 trenches, approximately 250 feet, for the placement of underground utilities to the house and 2 additional trenches to an out building for utilities. He dug the trench for the electrical work first so that my electrician could lay his cable and PECO could lay the new gas line. He installed a grinder pump for the sewer and made all inside connections for the new gas line, water line and sewer line. Brent and Jeremy installed the new lines and fittings level and plumb. They answered my questions and consulted with me daily regarding the placement of pipes and the future expansion of the system. Dan was meticulous when regrading the yard and supplied adequate straw for reseeding cover. He even did some grading for a future patio beyond what we agreed to. They were great to have on site and you couldn't ask for nicer people to work for you.
