Chip did work for our neighbor down the street which was similar to what we wanted to have done.   We asked him to look at the what we wanted done at our house.  He came by as he had promised and gave us a reasonable quote for the work, so we hired him.  He recommended a window company and arranged for the replacement windows to be delivered to our home.  He sub-contracted a plumber and scouted out the perfect size used radiator for us.  He and the plumber worked on the same day -- one installing replacement windows, the other radiators.  Since Chip underestimated the amount of time it would take, he returned to finish the work.  Chip never arrived when he said he would, but he also stayed as long as possible to complete that day's work.  Whenever we called him, he picked up or returned our calls promptly.  When we had a concern or complaint, he listened attentively and did his best to rectify the problem.  Could the quality of the workmanship have been better?  Yes.  Was he a fair, reliable and honest person to work with?  No question!  Overall, we are pleased with the work that Chip did.
