Herzog's reupholstered dining chairs that were made in the 1950's.  He knew exactly what to do, from retying the strings, adding new stuffing (whatever is comparable to "horse hair", and using new fabric.  He did not try and sell me scotch guard, like another competitor tried to.  That alone would have cost an additional $30 per chair and the guarantee was only good for tens years. It was more cost effective to purchase additional fabric in the event of a stain or rip.  He also touched the chairs up to retain their character.
He even told me to give him a call before the final fabric was on to check the firmness and give him feedback.  The people who work there are equally as nice as it Richard was.  I wouldn't go to anyone else for future projects.  He knows what he's doing.
