I requested that he come by my house for an estimate/quote on having two lampposts repaired. Not only was that a game of phone tag, buy when he finally decided to come by, he did it when I was not home. initially didn't see this as a problem. Later, we had a date scheduled where he would come by and perform the "simple" work which he stated wouldn't take him more than a couple of hours. First he canceled this appointment due to weather - understandable. Unfortunately, he did not reschedule me in for at least a month later. At this point I was very anxious to have the work completed as it involved wires outside of my new house. I am a single mom and was unable to stay home from work on the day he was "able" to do the work. I made the huge error of trusting him to complete the job ethically. Long story short, nothing was repaired the way that I had specifically requested, he took the liberty of doing odd handy work and billed me for it, and in the end I ended up paying out more than three times the original quote. Don't waste your money.
