Tom is great to deal with 10/10. He showed up on time completed the work I asked in a timely manner and also was able to look at and fix other stuff that came up after I already set the appointment. Tom is awesome and got the job done well!

Tom was immediately responsive to my call for help for my daughter's bathroom renovation (within a few minutes). We were able to schedule quickly and he visited to do the electrical rough-in work for a GFCI outlet, a new vanity light, a new fan/light, and the Ditra Heat for our anticipated tiled floor. Once we completed the bathroom, he returned to install the vanity light, the necessary switches and outlets, and connected the Ditra Heat wiring to the new thermostat which he checked to make sure was functioning properly. He also took time to install a new remote switch for a hallway light to give us a downstairs switch to go along with the upstairs light and wired switch. We could not be happier. He was quick, attentive, and thorough...a real pleasure to work with. We will definitely call him again!

I'm building a wall to wall cabinet in my dining room and decided that I wanted to move the outlets on the wall up so that they will be accessible above the new counter. I thought about trying to do it myself, but I then I realized that I didn't want to die or burn my house down so I found TME Electric through Angie's List. Tom is polite and professional. He called and arranged the appointment, showed up on time (even a little early, I think), and did top notch work. I will definitely call him again in the future if I need more electrical help.

Fantastic experience. He was on time for our Saturday appointment and was courteous and professional. He examined the areas of concern, explained what the problems were after some investigating, how he would fix them and resolved both of these issues for me within an hour of stepping foot in my home. It turned out that there was a problem with two light fixtures, the type of bulbs I had been using in another set of fixtures and a connection issue with some wiring in my kitchen. There was no "hard-sell" for additional work, labor or merchandise. All in all, I will definitely recommend TME Electric to others and absolutely will hire Thomas again for work I plan to have done in the near future.

Tom was great. I asked that he come to the house since he would be replacing a 25 year old ceiling fan that was mounted above the stairs and I didn't want him to be surprised at the "challenge." He looked over what had to be done and said NO problem. I ordered the fan and within a couple of days after it arrived, he set up a time to install. Old fan down; new fan up-- no problem. I paid the EXTREMELY reasonable bill and he left. However after he left, I realized that I MADE A MISTAKE in explaining how I wanted the switches to work (2 switches control the fan light --1 on the 1st floor; the other on the second floor.) I contacted him and explained it was MY ERROR. He returned a couple days later, had to disassemble the whole fan and rewire it AND REFUSED TO BILL ME FOR MY MISTAKE. Everything works great and he has a customer for life.

tom was very through installed some new ceiling fans and also many new ceiling lights he was reasonable and was always prompt. he always cleaned up his work area when he was finished he was at our homes 4 days we would definetly hire him again

Tom, owner of the business, was very professional and personable. He introduced himself and even made time for our little dog. (Who sat and watched him work.) Tom put the two lights together and installed them very neatly and quickly. (Even doing some patching of holes.) He suggested we install a dimmer. He told me he could do that for us, if he could return after his next job. I thought that was a great idea. He also told me I needed decorative chain to move the other light. Tom returned and installed the dimmer and the decorative chain. I really appreciated the completion of these tasks in one day. The cost for services was reasonable and done very professionally. I would definitely use this business again. Thanks, Tom, for your service!

The owner of TME Electric came over that day. He was was able to locate the problem quickly. He was extremely professional. I, definitely, would recommend him for any electrical service to anyone! My husband is planning on calling TME Electric to put in ceiling spot lights inside our home; and to do some landscape lighting in the front of our home. The price of the electrical work was completely reasonable! And he did excellent work! Please do not hesitate to use the services of TME Electric! You will not be disappointed.

Tom got back to me really quickly after I emailed him. Communication was great. He showed up exactly on time to do the work and he was very friendly and courteous. He didn't make a mess and he cleaned everything up when he was done. He also alerted me to a possible issue with one of the fans, which I appreciated. He quoted me $275 for the job but only charged me $250, and he did a great job! We would definitely hire him again to do electrical work.

We had a home custom built for us two years ago, but the builder wanted over $500 at the time to buy and install rope lighting in our dining room tray ceiling that was 14' high. So, at the time, we opted to have the builder just install the electrical outlet in the tray, the wiring, and the switch on the wall.
We finally got around to getting the rope lighting done. As we are both afraid of getting on high stepladders to do house work, we searched Angie's list and found Tom from TME Electric in Palmyra. He returned our call within minutes, came out to our house two days later to look at what we wanted, then came back the very next day to install the rope lighting for us.
Tom is very professional and easygoing. Both days, he showed up exactly when he said he would. We didn't know what type of rope lighting to get, or how much, so he took measurements and then discussed the pros and cons of different types of rope lighting. Since the local Home Depot had in stock what we needed, my wife and I made a quick stop there before dinner.
Tom came back the very next day, bravely climbed the stepladder, and installed the rope lighting. Very clean job.
Total investment was $28 for the rope lights and $100 for installation.
There is absolutely no doubt at all that we will use Tom and TME Electric for future electrical needs.
