The Greenskeeper Beautiful Lawns By Eric Inc

The Greenskeeper completed renovation of our flowerbeds and some grass reseeding. The estimate seemed fair & comparable to the other 2 local companies we met with, and was provided in a timely manner. However, that is the extent of the good things we experienced with this company. To start, their staff “forgot” to come out for our scheduled initial consultation. After we signed a contract & they cashed our deposit, we contacted them after 3+ weeks of not hearing anything. The receptionist took our contact information and assured us someone would call back. Unfortunately, no one called, and instead their staff began work at our home without prior consulting us for an acceptable date. If they would have returned our multiple requests to set a date for the work, we would have scheduled it for a later time. However, they had no problem making sure the remainder of the bill reached us in a timely manner. Overall, I regret using The Greenskeeper and wish I would have used a different company. Their communication was non-existent, half of the mulched areas were too thin (under 1 inch thick), the reseeded grass areas came in patchy, and they left multiple tread marks in our yard & did not have the courtesy to lay seed there.

No response to an offer to work, tells me this contractor is not interested in my  satisfaction.
If this is the case, I fear any unsatisfactory items I am paying for will not be resolved.

Eric and Phil are great. Eric was able to meet with me right away. Professionalism was 100%. Started the job when promised!

It was not the best experience only because he came at night to design for the landscaping but when they came to do the work, he kind of left and the workers he left here planned everything all wrong and we stood at out patio, we realized it was all wrong and we called him and wanted a charge to fix it. He didn't plant the things he would plant, he fought with we quite awhile to pay the up-charge where they're the one who made the mistake. It was actually frustrating.

I'm pretty satisfied with them. They're expensive but they do a good work. It takes $300 to get the grass cut and I pay a couple of hundred dollars for the treatment of the bushes. It was good, though. I would use them in the future.

Eric came out to my home on time, took measurements for a retaining wall project. Not a very sociable man, but that is not what I wanted from him. After 3 phone calls to Greenskeeper and over a month of waiting to get a estimated quote sent to me, Eric never returned phone calls or an estimate for the retaining wall project I wanted done.

Their pricing is very good and reasonable. They do a good job of cleaning up. I have been doing business with them for about ten years.

I have a contract with them where they take care of my lawn in the spring, summer and fall. They come out once a month and mow the lawn and come periodically for grub control, fertilizing and trimming of the shrubs and trees. I spend around $50 for the mowing.

We contacted this company to get an estimate for replacing an existing fish pond on our property. The owner, Eric, came by our house to take a look and give an estimate. He was 45 min late and said he would get back to me with the estimate after assessing our property. After about 5 weeks, I realized we never heard back from him. When I called and asked, they said he was "working on it" I tried calling back twice more and the secretary told me that he would have to come out and take another look. He then came back, while we weren't home, and I received an email with an estimate for $5000 a few days later. The plan was for an 8x11 ft pond with a 6 ft stream (about 2 times the size of the existing pond and adding a new stream), which, had they asked, we would have been able to tell them we were hoping for something MUCH smaller. My husband and I decided to move on and not contact them after our experience; however about two weeks later, we received a "revised" estimate for a smaller pond for $4000 without our promting or contacting them.

They were a little skimpy with the mulch. In my yard, it's not so clear where the yard ends and the forest begins. This is the second year they have mulched for me, and we are still working out where to stop mulching. They did the mulching in July, and I have requested that they do it earlier next year, so that the mulch will suppress the weeds.

It went poorly. Company was very unresponsive to requests for followup after we were unhappy with the service. They were very poor at returning phone calls.
