Although the owner Gary claims to want customers to be happy, nothing could be further from the truth.! As homeowners, from the beginning we expressed a desire for specific plants in our design, especially roses. Gary did not include one rose bush in the final design. For someone who claims to have two decades of experience, he seemed very unsure of himself even when recommending plants, commenting how he would have to consult with another nursery planner firstâ ¦but you have two decades of experience and did not know the names or identify of plants already in our yard?!? Gary argued with us about the identity of a specific tree we planted ourselves prior to hiring him, adamant he was right, it was only after he compared the branches did Gary admit he was wrong.. We wanted and needed a specific tree planted against our house to match the first tree due to height and width restrictions within the area it was to be planted, We could not have expressed this any clearer about this! Shortly thereafter Gary went and planted a tree that did not match. Once again he did not listen. The second attempt to plant the tree we originally asked for, Gary said he would go to the nursery where we purchased the original tree, claimed he spoke to the people at the nursery where the original tree was purchased, AND claimed they looked up our account to locate the exact tree we previously purchased. He LIED! !How do we know? Because we had a discussion with the nursery ourselves in person, showing them pictures, confirming he never asked any of the nursery personal. Gary also told US (the homeowners) the nursery had to order the tree and he gave us a bogus lie (which we did not know it was a lie at the time) when the tree was expected at the nursery, and would it be alright to leave the tree planted until the â newâ one came in. We agreed. BUTâ ¦.weeks went by and so did the date Gary promised to come back. We had to call after him numerous times! We heard excuse after excuse why he wasnâ t showing up, including how he had to finish another clientâ s property. Like, Hello! We ARE clients, clients who he charged several thousand dollars for less than adequate landscaping from someone who advertises himself with over 20 years experience?!! What a joke! So Gary proceeds to remove the tree we did not want in the first place and plants ANOTHER tree(second attempt) while we were not home.The tree still not matching the first.to this day. Gary refuses to return phone calls and to make the situation right while we have a tree which we never wanted in the first place, it continues to grow wider and will have to be replaced soon. We found Gary to be less than professional during the entire process, becoming angry and combative while losing his temper making us as homeowners very uncomfortable! Stressful and Disrespected by someone who claims to be â professionalâ best describe this experience! We shared our bad experience with Gary among family and friends I would NOT recommend Swann Landscaping!

I with out a doubt found a company that is reliable, great to work with, does a fantastic job and is very reasonably priced. Gary and his team worked so well together and were very efficient. Found my forever landscaping company.

We had never had a landscaping service do anything but with new time consuming work responsibilities I didnâ t have time to rake leaves from several mature trees. Swann landscaping did an amazing job. I will have them back for other projects and leaves again next year. Had a prompt call and responsive to needs. Fast service. I didnâ t shop around but thought the price was fair.

What these landscapers did over the course of two mornings would have taken me all summer long to accomplish, and the end result was astounding. Gary did a great job of communicating any issues that needed addressed, and we finally feel that we "have our yard back." Neighbors have already noticed how much larger and cleaner the space is. We would recommend Swann Landscaping very highly!

They got it all done in one day, did a great job and cleaned everything up before leaving.

Prompt, did a great job getting up leaves, putting down tanbark & fixing our front yard after a sewer line repair. We plan to have him do additional work in the fall. Would highly recommend Swann Landscape to any one who want excellent work.

All the work was completed in a day. I was shocked at how much he was able to do in one day. A maple tree was cut down, 3 boxwood bushes removed, 5 old lilac bushes removed, he ground down all stumps, trimmed many bushes around the property and removed leaves out of the flowerbeds. Every thing was trimmed up and hauled away. Was very pleased with the work he did and will rely on his services this spring for mulching and mowing.

Swann did do a good job of cleaning up a lot of the leaves & the owner seemed very nice. I hate to give bad reviews to anyone, however this may end up costing me more money after I paid them $300. A white broken pipe was exposed on my front lawn; I never saw this pipe, during the summer when the lawn man was at my home or any other time for that matter until the day of the leaf cleanup service - Monday November 28, 2016. I asked the owner what is that & he replied that all it was was an underground drainage pipe & said it wouldn't make any difference that it was broken & above ground. He later stated in an email & voice message that if I thought he broke it, I was wrong. I never saw it before that day. (I am in the process of finding someone to look at it, & if it has to be repaired I will not have money to have anything done with it at this time.) On top of that the owner showed me where they had piled quite a bit of leaves on top of a rather large mountain of debris I have near my shed, mainly consisting of old leaves, large branches, etc., which I placed there, but haven't had the money to have it hauled away. I did not say anything to the man as I did not want to start any confrontation. Why would he pile leaves all around an already big pile so at the first wind, they could blow back off into the yard & even my neighbor's yard, which is right on the line where the pile is. Then he tells me he can haul all that away for $250. I was under the impression all leaves would be taken away, not have some of them piled on top & all around so I would have more worries. They also left a rather large pile of leaves in the corner on the right hand side of the shed. Now I have to try & get those leaves up myself, plus try & get those leaves off that big pile, plus worry about the exposed white pipe in my front yard. This is minor, however they also blew my rubber mats all over my front porch & never put them back. I will say they did get most of the leaves out of areas that were very hard to get to & I want to give them credit for that. They had a leaf blower & some large machine I never saw before that they used together & maybe this machine somehow plowed up the pipe. They also did one last lawn mowing, which was good. Like I said I hate to give bad ratings but this was a little too much & I am worried about the exposed pipe. I didn't need to have to spend anymore money after paying $300 plus $15 just to pay the bill online. I have pics of this, altho don't have the capacity to send them over computer, I do have video from my phone however. Thank you.
