The first time we used Oxford Cabinetry was in 2013 to remodel the main kitchen in our home.  It involved the custom design, construction and installation of our large kitchen.  The cost was approximately $21,000 and involved the construction of about 30 cabinets, every single one being customly-designed.  Their work was way past outstanding!!  After getting estimates from some companies closer to our home, we had given up on ever being able to afford a kitchen remodel.  But, once we found Mr. Fisher and Mr. Harnish's business, we sought just one more estimate from them.  Their price was within budget for us.  They accomplished the work on time.  The cabinets meshed together perfectly.  Their work was excellent!
So, when we had to put an addition on our home, we contacted Oxford again.  And again, their work surpassed our expectation.  The cabinetry is beautiful.  This time, to try to save time, we drove to PA and picked up the cabinets.  Our contractor installed them.  I would say this:  Although the installation is O.K., I now wish we would have had Oxford install them.   Oxford's work is seamless and flawless.
If we EVER need ANY cabinetry work done - dressers, vanities, shelving, etc. - we will definitely hire Oxford Cabinetry again.  They are an outstanding custom cabinetry company!!

We obtained several estimates.  One was from Kitchen Savers for $56,000.  Another was from Lowes, but they were unable to do ANY custom cabinetry for us.  All of Lowes' cabinets come out of a box.  Their price was about $23,000 for standard cabinets, no countertops or hardware included.  Oxford was a bit of a drive for us (about 2 hours), but it was well worth it.  We have a galley-shaped kitchen/dining area.  We wanted all of our cabinetry 6" deeper than standard.  All of Oxford's work is custom?they make all of their cabinets.  So making them 6" deeper didn't cost any extra except for material.  We designed some of the unique cabinets ourselves.  Oxford came up with cabinet solutions when we were stumped.  There were 23 cabinets in all, plus one 36 x 36 rollabout with two mixer lifts.  Some of the cabinets are glass fronts with false backs.  All of the wood is oak.  The left/right frames of each cabinet were made from a single piece of oak so that, once the separate cabinets are installed next to each other, they look like one contiguous piece.  Outstanding craftsmanship!
Until this year, the business was entirely Amish-owned, which made communication more difficult (no internet, limited phone time, etc.)  But this year, Mr. Jacob Fisher, the owner, took on an English partner, Mr. Laverne Harnish.  Both men are delightful to work with.  They are creative and fair.   We understand that the crafters are all Amish, with the exception of one English.  The installers are English?very polite, pleasant and easy to have in your home.  Our project was very large.  The first install was in July.  The finish was in September.  Our price was about $23,000 which included all cabinets, countertops, hardware and installation.  If we EVER need any custom furniture or cabinet work, Oxford will definitely get a call from us!
