Russell sold me a warranty for an entire roof repair done in 2014. The roof cost $25,000. 8 years later I have shingles falling off the roof. I called them to fix the roof. They told me that this is not under warranty, so they would "do me a favor" and fix the roof as long as I would put up a sign in my lawn for an extended period of time to advertise their company or else they would charge me - maybe $500 or more. Then they did not show up to do the work, so I ended up hiring another company.

The lack of responsiveness to paying customer by this organization is simply astounding. I paid a deposit for my project on October 26th and have yet to have my project scheduled or to have received a call back from anyone in Production in this company. There is no excuse for not engaging with a paying customer for 5 months. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The Importance of Customer Service in the Construction Industry As a homeowner who has participated in multiple large home renovations, primary to cost, customer service and reputation was the deciding factor when choosing the roofer. We had used Russel in the past and had an amazing interaction, review posted above. But unfortunately, this time around Russel did not make me feel like a valued customer. Their process for establishing a project timeline, purchasing material, and communicating with customer was more than disappointing, it was disheartening. We contracted Russel Roofing & Exteriors to install standing seam metal roof on our new kitchen bump out on February 26, 2021. Our deposit was received on March 8, 2021. Immediately after deposit was cashed, our contractor began reaching out to Russel, primary focus was to establish project timeline, aim to keep project on track for completion for week of April 5, 2021. Our contractor was not able to make direct contact with any Russell representative, was never called back. Our roof was not fully installed until November 9, 2021, after many months of calling the main office weekly. The final invoice was mailed out November 15, 2021. We would NOT recommend Russell Roofing & Exteriors based on their lack of customer service/consideration/care.

Russell Roofing replaced our roof in a professional and expeditious manner. It looks beautiful, and we are confident that there will be no more leaks into our bedroom ceilings. Subsequent to fixing our roof, we requested advice about a water problem in our basement. Zach and Chad came to our house to inspect the problem. They not only made suggestions about how to deal with this but cleared our window wells of dry leaves to try to alleviate this situation. They volunteered to do this and, by doing so, went "above and beyond". We appreciate their attentiveness and kindness. We highly recommend Russell Roofing.

Russell did an amazing job. The crew started a few weeks ahead of schedule. The team worked extremely hard and took great care to protect the house and our yard while replacing the roof. The crew captain did a great job communicating about the status of the project. We've used Russell before and will use again in the future.

Estimator was on time and very thorough and polite. Gave digital estimate onsite, then emailed me a copy and followed up the next day. A tad high-pressure to sign up then and there, but backed off pretty easily when I said I needed to get other quotes. While the price seemed high initially (in comparison to handyman prices) it was competitive to other quotes once they came in. Work was scheduled several weeks out and was performed on time as scheduled. Very pleased.

From the project manager,Frank, to the crew foreman,Tim, and the roofing crew, we saw professionalism,quality and efficiency. Very professional scheduling and communications on email & phone. Two roofers showed up on times & completed the work.

The project went well. A rep came out and looked at the job very soon after I called and he sent the proposal within a couple of days. Proposal and procedures were very detailed. Because it was a small job they came and completed it soon after I signed the proposal. Andrew and Dan were very professional, no loud music, etc. Cleaned up after the job completely. The reason I gave the price a B was that it was more than I expected but one should assume that you need to pay for good work.

Russell Roofing was on time, started work, took precautions to minimize disruption to property. Left site clean they left.

It went well. They arrived on time. They installed the rain spout quickly and professionally. They did it with little inconvenience. There estimate was right on target.

Dan and Vince, along with their team built us an awesome new roof, with the improved materials and construction techniques. Andrea, their office manager, made it all possible with her expert office management skills. We finished signing the contracts April 17, 2017 Work was supposed to begin 2 weeks later, and take 1 week. We kept in touch via email, phone and direct contact with Russell Roofing, GreenSky (their financial company) and our local township codes and zoning regulations department. The extra time and effort that we put in paid off. several days in advance, we had to arrange with our neighbors about parking, because, parking on our street is a premium, especially when it comes to construction projects Delivery of materials: May 09, 2017 (several hours, due to all the telephone wires and such, causing interference with equipment) Construction of new roof: May 10, 2017 (7 am - 8 pm, they had 5-8 people here pretty much all day and night in extreme heat. I fed them water bottles all day. Gave them all generous tips. Let one man use my bathroom. They were extremely politely and soft spoken. hey constantly looked out for my safety and my husband's, whenever we were outside the house. The noise level was far less than I expected. I was able to enjoy the day at home (although it was a little warmer than usual inside lol) I caught up on some TV/DVR. Cleanup: May 11, 2017 they removed the giant waste in parked in front of our house, as well as any debris that was left from yesterday. Dan patrolled the property searching for nails, etc. If there are any problems we can call them for follow-ups. These people are amazingly professional. ou will have to actively be a part of the process, ask a ton of questions, keep in constant contact, fill out a on of paperwork, do some driving around, etc.... but, the process is work it. OMG ONE DAY to put up a new roof!

Excellent. Vince was down to earth and honest, took lots of time explained details. Tim was an amazing job boss - on top of all details, very accessible. Roof completed fast and beautifully done.

I've used them before. This is the second time I've used them. They did excellent work. They communicated well and showed up on time. They addressed all of my questions and concerns as soon as I had them. They did the work in the winter which was fantastic as this is not usually the case for roofers. They waited until nice days at times in order to do the work.

Very well. They are very professional and do the job right. My only reservation about them is that they are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We were satisfied. I would give them the highest grade. They explained everything. They did a thorough job, everything was absolutely professional. It's a professional looking job, and they kept me informed on everything that was going on.
