I was very pleased with the way Mini Backhoe Services handled my project. Shane was great at explaining how to re-slope (regrade) my side yard where there was standing water during medium to heavy rains. The slope was steep. Several options were recommended from bringing in loads of dirt (soil) to level out the slope. Bringing in dirt was a problem since it was uncertain as to just how much dirt would be needed. The first visit was exploratory allowing Shane to see what the project entailed. Ultimately, we decided to do the project in two steps, which I was very comfortable with. The first step was to use the existing dirt already on the slope to regrade the steep hill, wait for rain to see the effect, that would let us know if next steps were needed and how much added soil was needed. I was very satisfied with the plan. The very next week, Brandon came in with the Bobcat and re positioned the hill into a smooth grade that made such a difference in the appearance. Since that time, we had a light rain. No water puddles. But I will have them return to fill in with additional soil, once I have some additional landscaping work completed. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the outcome. Brandon and Shane have a professional style that makes a customer feel comfortable. I made the right choice using Mini-Backhoe Services, and I highly recommend the company.

It went well until his work failed and they wanted extra money to fix it. Not a company to trust, wanted more money to fix a job they did not do right in the first place!

I hired MBS to jack hammer and remove a bunch of concrete on my property from an old pool. I went with MBS because the quote was fair and reasonable. It was presented in a very polished and professional manner as a clear itemized list, broken down by price. I appreciate the transparency. Jason stayed in touch and scheduled a time to complete the work. He arrived on time, was personable and more importantly did a great job. I can tell he takes pride in his work. I was very satisfied with the end product. I plan to use him in the future and you should too.

Got a call back from them within mere minutes of placing my request on Home Advisor. The quote was fair and also delivered in a timely manner. More importantly the work they did on my front stairs was great. Efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, would definitely use their services again in the future.

Jason and his employees were fantastic.

I have already recommended Jason to a couple friends pricing out regrading projects. I could not speak more highly of him, his crew, and the work that was done. We had 2 areas that needed to be regraded - around our shed where we had a low spot and 3-6 inches of water would pool in heavy rain, and around our bilco doors which would pool and leak in heavy rain. The work was done in a day + 1 hour the next, after which we got some heavy rain to test it out. No water pooled and inside the bilco doors was bone dry. On top of quality work, Jason and the team were very personable and professional. On time, worked very hard, finished faster than expected, and cost was exactly as quoted. If you need work done around your property definitely give Jason a call, you wont regret it!

My yard has been a challenge for years now. We bought a big pool and each summer passed and we couldn t put it up because the whole yard was on a slight slant. I had gotten quotes from multiple companies and they were outrageously priced so we tried to level it ourselves, spent hundreds and hours attempting and then I found Jason of Mini Backhoe Services. I made an appointment for a quote and he was timely, processional and AFFORDABLE! I couldn t believe my luck! We leveled my yard a few days ago and my pool finally went up today after sitting in a box in the closet 3 years. Jason, the owner of Mini Backhoe Services, provided me with a detailed estimate on retrenching and resloping the ground behind my home. He was extremely professional and responsive to my many emails. I was not able to be home for part of the work but he kept me in the loop by emailing photos and sending any questions he had. He and his assistants took personal interest and care in my property, as if it were their own. I would not hesitate to hire him again and highly recommend his services. I have already requested another estimate from him to create a stepping stone pathway in my back yard. Hire Jason and you will be pleased that you did!

It was a wonderful experience working with this company. The value of the work would be hard to beat and Jason and Maria are terrific people. Most of the people that had given me bids are not people I want to work with. These people I would feel comfortable having at my family picnic. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation!
