Very professional. Responded to request for quote promptly, and recommended removal over trimming. Handled the job very well, and the tree rot was evident when cutting. Excellent experience.

The quality of work that the Titan crew provided yesterday cannot justifiably be quantified in words. It's absolutely incredible. Last week, I sent a quick message via Facebook to the Titan Tree Service page, expecting that I might get a response within a couple of days. Within an hour, I was chatting with Alec, Titan's VP. I asked if they would be interested in a small residential job, removing a few trees, and he said they would --- and he could come by a few hours later to give me a quote on the job. Here's where the cool stuff starts. He showed up. Not only did he show up, but he showed up on time. I work from home, so I'm pretty much always available, and can work around other people's schedules. And, sadly, I've gotten used to that. All too often, I would contract someone to do a job - large or small - and it gets off to a flying stop. The horse dies before it even gets out of the gate. The contractor will say they'll be there at noon that day and they show up the November after your funeral. Alec said he'd be here around two o'clock, and he was here pretty much at two o'clock. We walked through the yard and I identified the three trees we wanted (by which I mean, "the wife told me to have") removed: a moderately-sized tree in the front, encumbered by power, cable, and phone lines leading to both our home and the neighbor's; a nearly-dead tree that, a few years ago, was viciously attacked by a bear that had apparently chased a cat up into it; and a weird-looking tree in the middle of the yard, which was identified as a "weeping cherry." He gave me a fair quote and I agreed on the spot. He said they'd be back to do the job in about a week and, on Labor Day, Alec sent me a message on Facebook (the way I initially reached out to him) saying they'd be here the next morning. The Tuesday following Labor Day, sure enough, the convoy of trucks and chippers and other tools of the trade rolled up our street. The crew got right to work, and what I witnessed of it was done expertly. I left for the afternoon when they were nearly done taking the last of the remaining tree down, and didn't get back home until well after dark, so I didn't see the full, final results until today. This morning, we were welcomed with so much bright sunshine in the front of the house, it was almost disgusting. I hadn't realized how much light was blocked by the tree in the front. The best part, though, was going outside to inspect the job up close and in person: not only are the stumps completely gone, but they removed all of the roots --- and the tree in the front had roots that were about five to six inches above the surface in spots, stretching all around the yard. It made mowing the lawn a nightmare. Now, it's tough to find exactly where the trees stood --- the job was done that well. So from now on, any time I hear of anyone needing any tree work done anywhere in the area, Titan will be the only name I'll mention. In fact, I may go plant a couple new trees out back so I can hire them to cut them down someday. (Okay, I embellished the last part, obviously, but seriously: these guys are the best.)

I got my money's worth as it met what I needed to get done.
Did a nice job walling (prevent growing towards my house) and trimming the 2 maples that wanted to keep to shade house. Crew showed up and did partial job before July 4th and competed after the holiday.
Difference between A work versus B work ( and missed opportunity for them for more $ - as I usually tip for A work about $50-$100):
Left large branches in the yard before the holiday (good thing hand no plans for the holiday in our yard.)
Asked for some brush to be removed, but crew showed no interest in that work - which ok, as these folk are tree cutters, not brush pile removers.
After holiday cut down most of remaining trees, but left large stumps at fence height.  Said not able to, as being grown into fence so could not do it and said will not grow back.  Again minor, but only one of the stumps slightly grown into the fence, could have taken it out.
I like what they did do, would use again, but will be very specific about what needed/expect before the quote.
