it went very well. At one point I decided that I wanted it done a little differently and Mast (Patrick and Ken) were very agreeable to changing the way they had been doing it, even having to redo part of it. They said they wanted me to be pleased and whatever it took they would do. Patrick was extremely meticulous and professional. I have used Mast for several jobs and am never disappointed.

Mast Roofing was very patient with our service. Due to damage from the hail storm, we had to wait for the insurance company. The roof inspector would call me periodically looking for updates instead of completely forgetting us. Once everything was ready with the parts for our repair, he called in the morning to schedule an appointment. He said they are available today to install and to fix everything else, which was fine with our schedule. He said they would be there in 30 mins. They were very professional onsite. Anytime he was in our house, they used foot covers. They cleaned up completely from the mess (even cleaned our plant leaves, which had dust on it from the installation).

The estimator showed up on time and as scheduled. He was extremely thorough with taking measurements, drawing diagrams of the house, checking the underside of the roof via the attic, etc. etc. After completing this, he said he could prepare an estimate right then and to leave with us, so we invited him in and he sat with his computer and plugged in the measurements and other details. It seemed to take a long time to prepare the estimate but finally he was ready to review it with my wife and I. He showed us the estimate, explaining everything and answering questions we had, then printed it out and left. We were a little shell-shocked at the price, but on the flip side, comparing it with the 3 other estimates we had gotten, I feel the end result would have been better than any of the other 3 companies. So, if cost were not a consideration, I would have gone with them. But cost is a consideration so we had to balance cost with everything else.

I needed a repair done quickly due to shingles blowing off the weekend before and rain/snow in the forecast within days. I called in the afternoon on Thursday and Mike (repairman) showed up at 9AM the very next morning. Despite temperatures being -2 degrees with up to 20 mph gusts, Mike performed all repairs in a timely and professional manor. He took the time to show me exactly what needed to be repaired with before and after pictures and recommended some additional items that may need attention in the immediate future. The price was probably a little more expensive that I had anticipated but it's hard to complain in light of the quick response and great customer service, not to mention the -30 degree temps (with wind chill factored in)!
I'm very happy with the experience and would highly recommend Mast Roofing and Construction!

They did a great job and the barn looks wonderful! Scheduling was as good as it could have been after the storm, and they finished the job in about a week. Their pricing is very fair and even worked with me on the cost. They're very professional and I would definitely recommend them.

Luke was very professional and thorough. He spent a lot of time showing me the problem areas and explaining the options available to repair. He completed the work in a timely manner working around my schedule. This is the second time I've used Mast over the years and they are always on time and professional. I will definitely use this company again when the need arises.

They were very professional and very tidy. After they tore off the portion of the roof, they took pictures and consulted with me. They were really great guys and I felt really comfortable around them and even having them in my house. They were clean and efficient. Just excellent! I would highly recommend them!

I wanted to get an estimate during the hail storms of 2014 for a roof replacement and a siding quote. When I first contacted them I never heard back, but I was told that it would be sent to an estimator. I contacted them again understanding it was busy on June 26, 2014, they immediately requested a copy of my insurance claim, which I provided to them via email (wasn't very comfortable showing my "deck of cards" to the other poker player - but I did hoping it would move the estimate along). I finally had someone give me an estimate on July 22, 2014 (just shy of a month). Unfortunately during the period of that 1 month I had 3 other contractors provide me estimates in that time period.
The day of the estimate, I received a call going over expectations for the estimate. I was told that I could expect questions about what would I be comfortable with paying outside of the insurance quote - in other words I was being prepared to receive an estimate that was going to be ridiculously higher than everyone else.
The estimator arrived 20 minutes late, although appeared very nice, and was courteous. He wore the booties throughout the house while inspecting the interior of my attic. He then inspected the exterior. Came back into the house about 40 minutes later with some paperwork. He informed me of what they use - they are master elite GAF (which it seems everyone is anyway) they use copper for flashing (again in line with other competitors). In fact the only thing that sets them apart is that they offer a 25 year craftsmanship warranty where most competitors is 20 years and that they will revisit and inspect the property 2x the year after the project. He then started to talk about monthly installments (for the recurring inspections) which was a complete turn off. When I purchase something today - the last thing I want is to pay for it the remainder of the life of the product.
Then the quote of the price was $11,000 and some change. (I think $11,400). He then explained that it was for the roof, gutters and flashing. He asked me where that falls in line, and I bluntly told him much higher than your competitors. For that price I should be getting copper gutters too and not white ones. I pretty much wrapped up the conversation and showed him to the door. I then called a competitor (Bachmans which quoted me at $14k to do the exact same job on my roof and side my entire house).
One more thing I didn't like about Mast - they couldn't give me an estimate for the siding - I realized that this is probably because they subcontract this to another outfit which they will act as a middleman.
No thank you Mast - I will be happier with someone who can be doing the work without price gauging the consumer during a time of opportunity.

A few months ago my roof started leaking in multiple locations. It was a rare case do to the nature of the roof having concrete tiles.
Several of the concrete tiles were cracked and needed to be replaced. Mast Roofing came out (Luke) and did a full roof inspection. Mast provided details of where the leaks may be coming from and provided estimates for repairs. Mast patched the roof as best they could until we could locate the concrete tiles. Once the concrete tiles were found Mast came out and made all the necessary repairs to the roof to stop the leaks which included replacing the Chimney flashing and the replacing the roof tiles. We thought the dormer was also leaking but upon further inspection Mast determined the leak was localized to the cracked tiles. Mast also replaced the Gutter
which was not draining properly and was growing moss. The chimney had a small crack and Mast installed a chimney cap and chimney crown.
Summary: Roof no longer leaks, gutter drains properly, and I don?t have to worry about chimney cracking. Mast was professional and did a great job, special thank you to Luke.

Contacted company via email on Angie's list late Tuesday night and got a phone call first thing on Wednesday morning . Tracy was very professional and had excellent customer service. We set up an appointment for Thursday. The roofing specialist was to be at my house at 9:00am but was 30 minutes late. He called prior to 9am so I was fine with it, he was on another job and it took a little longer. I appreciate the phone call. When he arrived he explained he was going to do a 17 point inspection. He even put cloth slips over his boots not to get my carpets dirty. After he did the inspection , which included pictures he took of the damaged areas, he explained the issues and had a preset list of pricing. With the pricing sheet I was able to see how much it would cost me. I had someone else do an estimate and was not specific on how much each thing cost and he gave an estimate not an actual amount. The gentleman gave me a price I was comfortable with and was able to do the work right away. Since I had a roof leak and it was suppose to rain that night I was very grateful he was able to do the repair immediately. He replaced the torn shingles and replaced the cracked vents and even sealed some nail holes he saw after he started the work and did not charge me extra. He finished the work in the time frame he gave me. He was very respect of my property with the care he took inside not to mess anything up left everything as he found it . He cleaned up all the items he replaced and left everything clean outside as well. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

Excellent service, timeliness. Very professional, prompt and easy to deal with. They used a subcontractor who was also great and we love our gutters. They look great and work even better! I called them for other services and they were very honest and told me it wasn't their specialty and I should try someone else closer to my house. I appreciated the discussion and honesty. I called to asked them to check my standing seam metal roof and gutters and downspouts. I was told that they typically don't do work in the City of Reading and that there would be a $99 fee to just come out and examining my roof. She also said that they are typically 25% higher that other companies...

Luke and his team were prompt and extremely thorough in determining the source of the leaking (more than one place.) They checked everything, and explained all the details of my leak, its sources and how to manage it immediately and for the long-term. They took photos which helped with the insurance claims. In various follow-ups, the office staff and employees were exceptionally professional and service minded. I'll be needing a new roof in the next few years, and I will certainly use Mast for my work.
Beyond the roof service, Mast assisted me in finding me a company that helped me manage the the interior mitigation of the water damage immediately.

After accepting Mast Roofing's quote for the two projects, Kerwin's top notch crew led by Luke arrived at the house promptly on the date promised. The work took a total of two days, and the first day the guys worked until they reached a stopping point that was acceptable to both them and us. Luke was very professional and knowledgeable, and he kept me updated as to the team's progress and discussed what he thought were potential problem areas and the best way to address them. Part of the work required removing and re-installing 20-year old vinyl siding. Luke cautioned that there are risks involved with removing and trying to reinstall old siding, that portions may be brittle and are susceptible to damage, but that they would do their best to take their time and be careful. Thanks to the team's care and attention to detail, all of the siding was successfully removed and reinstalled without any problems or damage. The roof replacement and siding work was completed on the second day as promised, and the roof and siding work look amazing. The team left my yard in good condition with no damage to any landscaping or grass, and cleaned up all debris and roofing nails, etc. and left the site in tip-top shape. A year and a half later, the roof still looks great, and we have had no leaks or other issues.
