Took the frost king pipe out that had been put in by a friend and re-inserted it. Replaced the pipe and valve in the house. The technician was very nice and professional.

It was a good a good expirience, but they just did not do the work the right way and it casued problems in the future.

Would use this plumbing service again.

Being new to the Pensylvania area, a few months ago, I received a letter from PA American water telling me that I needed to have a backflow device installed. In speaking to the representative in the water company, it was explained to me what that was, and that I could purchase the device myself. However, I did not know how to install it, and saw an Ed Scota Plumbing/Heating truck a few doors down. I took the number down and called. They returned my call within a day, and was very polite. I explained that I had already obtained the device, but needed professional installation. Being that winter is upon us, they were very busy but were able to squeeze me in. The price quoted was extremely reasonable, and the job was done lickity split and done extremely well. The gentleman who installed the device (William Scoda) was very pleasant and professional. He explained everything to me and answered any question I had. I will definately use this company again should I ever need plumbing work done.

I used him a couple of times; once in December and again in January. In December he fixed my furnace as it had flooded and I had to get it rebuilt, so he rebuilt it for me. At my house he checked my sink and two toilets and that charge was $200. My furnace broke at night so I called him. He was there the next morning at 8 am. The pilot light went out a couple of hours later and he sent another guy right back out within an hour to fix it and make sure that it was good. He is a good guy and he's fast. He quoted the lowest price on the furnace. I had another guy look at the furnace and the other guy told me $2400; he did it for $1340. He's been in business for about 30 years.
