Friendly and polite service in helping me to schedule the appointment for the same week that I called. All work done neatly and efficiently. Have been a repeat customer for over a decade; wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

The minivan egine started shaking after the repair and engine light on. They were clueless as to what was happening! I called them upset and told them to check the timing belt. Usually the engine lights go on and engine shakes if it is not installed properly! Told us, bring it back on Tuesday. They had 4 days to work on it previously. I asked them to make it right. Car was worse off after they worked on it! I paid $1600 plus, and now I am worried that they did something to my car! I asked for a specific repair and they sound clueless to what I was telling them. I felt that they took my money but didn't do it right. This place is clueless to what I was telling them? I can't prove now that the timing belt was done right, but I feel I can't trust the repair. I'm worried that my car is now in danger due to what they have done. And when I called to tell them to check the timing belt and that it may be a degree off... they are clueless. A very expensive lesson learned. I am writing this review so that I can warn others about their clueless repairs. They just keep saying bring it back again Tuesday like it's no big deal. If you pay for the service, it is expected that it's done right the first time. I paid for a previous gas valve in November 2016 to be fixed and it's still a problem! They are still waiting for the part is their excuse. They don't care that paying customers for a $1600 plus repair are important or even a priority. We got delayed for 2-3 weeks before the service and when it was done-it shook and lit up the engine light. Then, they said-bring it back Tuesday. Car was shaking uncontrollably and we had to wait another week to see what's wrong with it. It wasn't until I called them to make it right that they made time for us! I can't trust this place. Now I have to spend more money to check and make sure the timing belt was placed done right.

Excellent. I was treated well by everyone, the work was done quickly and at a fair price and my car has been running great ever since. Couldn't have been more happy. I'll be bringing my car and my wife's car there from now on. I'm glad to have a mechanic I trust located so close to home.

I highly recommend this garage and I will be using them from now on for everything my car may need.

As usual, it went VERY WELL! Several years ago I needed a new local mechanic to maintain my car. I asked around to several friends and they all kept coming back to McGinnis Automotive as HIGHLY recommended. Since then I have had my car in there numerous times for regular maintenance, state inspections, recharge of my A/C system, and broken struts. Once, after a minor collision that mangled my hood and popped my bumper out a little, I was able to drive it and stopped by the shop on my way home unannounced to make sure my car was still safe to drive. Jeff came right out and popped the hood to look it over despite it being at the close of his business day. He checked to see if the engine and radiator were still structurally sound at no charge to lay my fears to rest. He even recommended a good auto repair shop which turned out to be great as well. I'll always come here! They are HONEST, reasonable, reliable and make you feel like you're family when you stop by! ZERO COMPLAINTS!

We just started using them and we like them a lot. I would give them an A across the board, particularly on price. They beat the dickens out of the dealer. I have a 2003 Honda Pilot. We have some fairly rough roads and it developed some noise in the front end and I knew it was some place in the suspension. The dealer couldn't figure out what it was. They replaced the front struts to the tune of $950.00; given the mileage on this car, that wasn't unnecessarily reasonable. I did some driving and I still had the noise. I took it to McGinnis. He didn't even have to drive the car. I described the noise to him and he told me those were the front sway bar bushings. He replaced them for $150.00 and the problem was gone. He outdid the dealer. I can't complain about that. The price was fine. I probably didn't even need the struts anyway, but the car has 90000 miles so I didn't really complain.
