Provider came out and gave an estimate on the work that needed to be done and sent a contract once signed and returned Todd and his crew were there within a week.  They did a great job from start to finish, and did a great job of cleaning everything up when they were finished.  Todd also gave suggestions on the cutting back of the roses and lilacs and made sure that i was involved in all the choices they made.  He had a great crew with him and I am looking forward to working with him again in the Spring to do more landscaping and plantings.  I would highly recommend Todd to anyone who needs to have landscaping done.

Owner was here during entire process which took close to 4 hours. He had a crew of atleast  other guys and they knocked it out and had it ready fro my dog by noon the day they arrived. Cleaned upon completion. Did a first rate job. I will be calling them back when my dog gets a bit older and I'll want the yard resodded back to grass like I once had, pre dog.. Really a great job, would highly recommend Kotwicki!

They removed everything. They did exactly what I wanted them to do, they carted the shrubs off, they swept up and left a perfect blank slate.

When they returned call, told me they couldn't do any work for 2 to 3 weeks. If I couldn't get anyone to do work, they said to call back. I appreciated their return call in a timely manner and their honesty with when they could do work.

I found this company on Angie's list and liked the fact that they were in my neighborhood. After first contacting them I got an appointment. No one showed up. I sent a e-mail asking if maybe our signals got crossed and was given a new appointment and an apology. Jeff came to my house, went over a list that I had written and stated that his partner who was the design half of the team would call and come by in a few days. Jeff then left with my list. The designer partner did get in contact with me and had a lot of great ideas. He too left with a list of work needed saying that they would be in touch. A week and a half later after hearing nothing I sent out an e-mail. This is the response I got.....
"Sorry for the lack of communication, I was not aware Jeff
was going to create a quote for you. I am not happy with this situation at our
own fault. ( not yours) Unfortunately with the over whelming work that has been
taken on this season, Jeff will not be able to provide services at this time
for you. I apologize greatly for the miscommunication between Jeff and I which
has led to this loss for all of us."
So, did they think that they were just "visiting".....not realizing that they were to give me an estimate?  I don't know.....It's a real shame. They lost out on an extensive moneymaking job. Must be nice to be able to ignore profitable business. Now because of the time wasted waiting for them to get back to me (I really liked what the designer guy had to say) I may have missed the boat getting anything done due to companies being booked for months. All they had to do is call and say "not interested".

He did a great job and he was knowledgeable in his field. He is even coming back for a follow up. I would recommend him to others.

They didn' do the work.

Jeff called promptly following my email. He told me he could do the job but it might take a few weeks because of his schedule. The wait turned out to be shorter than I expected. One day I went to work with a lawn and yard that looked like a jungle and came home to a well groomed home. Everything we discussed was taken care of. Now I am happy to leave this work in Jeff's hands.

The owner, Jeff, and his employees are prompt, professional and thorough.  I feel that we have received a good value for the services for a rather large lawn.  I am able to reach Jeff quickly and I always receive an immediate response.  Our home is a new construction spring 2012; the builder put down sod in the front but grass-seed in the back that died over the hot last summer. 
Kotwicki has kept the sod looking pristine and weed-free.  We started from scratch in the back; seed and fertilizer in the back last fall and more fertilizer in the back.  It's looking better and better! 

Kotwicki Landscaping was very easy to work with.  Contacted Kotwicki through their website, and corresponded with Jeff via text message and email which was helpful.  Jeff came out timely to provide a quote for the mulch.  We had a tight timeframe since we wanted the mulch done before an open house.  Jeff and his crew came out within a few days and performed the work quickly.  We are very happy with the service and will engage Jeff again.

They come once a week to cut the grass.  They also fertilize the lawn, periodically.  I do not have to call them time and again, to remind about.  I like their services a lot and will use the same in future.

He is very honest and dependable.  He knows what to do and I don't have to check in with him.
