They tried to charging is $600 and everyone was charging $200.

Overall very happy with work completed.
Jim came to my house on a Saturday morning to do the small patch job on roof & gutter replacement / change of direction to stop water from running right on to area that needed to be patched.
Jim is a very knowledgeable contractor that explained exactly what needed to be done and why.  His price was great compared to other similiar estimates and he was punctual for the appoitment.  Work was all done outside so there was not real clean-up, but everything looked good after he left.  The job may have taken him and hour at most so he was in & out with no issues.
Only small issues was response time, but Jim had explained to me the sitituation & it was understandable.
Again, we were very pleased with the work Jim did, & we would use him again.

It was 15 years ago and the roofs are still standing. They were great on cleaning up afterwords. I would recommend them to anyone.

I asked for them to take their time. (Yes, I know most people are in a rush to get it done and have the
disruption over.)  I wanted a really good job to replace a roof that had not been done well about 20 years ago.)
We discussed and decided on various options before starting, including possible more limited work to replace
only certain roofs, whether I wanted to replace gutters, downspouts, etc.
The work to be done was explained in detail, with places where I could offer opinions, changes, etc. The estimate was clear and detailed.  The estimate clarified the options, possible extra costs (e.g. replacing damaged wood sheathing beneath the shingles.)
I received a detailed copy of the signed agreement.
Everything was done as planned.  I did later opt for a different more elaborate gutter system, which had been discussed but about which I was uncertain.  This did add to the cost for a replacement of the old gutter system.  However, my experience in heavy rains since then shows these larger gutters, which require heavy brackets, works very well.  I believe the price was very good for the size of the main roof,  the additional garage and porch roofs, the amount of work done, products, and quality. 
 I have checked out the way the new roof and gutters are working. The enhanced protection along the sides of the chimneys is just great.  The downspouts, especially with redesigned emptying from the upper roof is working very well, a big and noticeable improvement.  Now for the bonus:  MY CELLAR IS DRY today after 3 or 4 days of rain from Hurricane Sandra.  The people who lived here before me said "this will always be a very damp cellar."   (They had a dehumidifier.)  It used to be very damp.
I have already recommended ABLE ROOFING to a friend, who, like me, is also very pleased.   I highly recommend them.

I called Jim when I noticed the shingles in my yard. He came over the next day looked at the roof, told me what he needed to do and gave me an estimate. He came th following day, did the work and charged me the estimated amount. On the bill he stated that there was no underlying damage to the roof. This company believes in customer service and I will use them again if nececssary . This is my second experience with Able Roofing and should I ever need a roofer again this is the company I will call.

Jim and the Able roofing crew were a pleasure to work with.  The crew showed up on time every day, performed a complete roof tear-off and replacement in 5 consecutive days.  The quality of this installation was second to none.  Great attention to detail and craftsmanship.  Able roofing also performed a few "extras", such as replacing some hard to access outdoor light bulbs.  I shopped around for roofers for about 2 years before finally making the commitment to a new roof.  Able provided superior workmanship at a competitive price.  I have no regrets whatsoever about selecting Able Roofing and I would highly recommend this company.

Able roofing provided a professional, quality job at a reasonable price.  Jim (the owner) was very responsive from my initial call for an estimate to completion of the job.  Jim and his crew provided lots of "extras", including gutter cleaning and a small siding repair, to ensure that the job was done right and looked professional.   I received several estimates before selecting this company.  Many companies wanted to simply do a "patch job" on the roof, and install skylights.  For the same money, Able roofing gave me new Veluyx skylights, a new roof, and a 5 year warranty.  Be extra careful when selecting roofers.  There are lots of people trying to cut corners out there.  I highly recommend this company.

They came quite quickly because we had a leak in the roof. He was one of the few that didn’t want to do the entire thing. He just wanted to get a part of it done. They were very efficient and quick. They were very nice. They were quiet. They were in and out very quickly. They seem to be reasonably priced and I didn’t actually pay anything extra. I just paid the estimated amount. They guys were very clean and they cleaned up and took some extra stuff away for me. It’s hard to get rid of the trash these days. I didn’t have any complaints at all. The quality is good. I didn’t even fetch the windows, he fetched it out for me and they are quite fine. He was going to give me some sort of tax rebate as well. He was punctual. He came when he said he would, in fact early. I was not here. He was quite accommodating. He used to come in after work and during the weekends. He’s not in our local area and everything worked out fine enough. I would definitely use them again in the future. I don’t have a lot of time to do the research. Angie’s List is very efficient and helped me a lot to find somebody because I’ve made a lot of mistakes in the past.

The owner was prompt with his estimate and very agreeable about answering my follow-up questions. The rainy weather played havoc with plans, but what impressed me a great deal was that the owner preferred to wait a number of days until the threat of rain was over rather than rush the job. I appreciate that very much. It's definitely a sign of someone who feels that doing a good, quality job is more important than packing in a lot of jobs in as little time as possible. The crew was very polite, accommodating, and generally cleaned up well. Able Roofing is a quality business with a level of integrity that isn't always evident in other roofing companies. I'm satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend them to others.

Mid January discovered roof leaking, called Able Roofing, however due to wether unable to estimate/repair. As soon as the weather broke, they were right out estimating and completing the job. Very professional in all aspects. Highly recommend.
