This company is the one to use for any iron work. They are professional and courteous from start to finish. Their estimate was honest and fair. Their work was exceptional. Working with Tom was a pleasure.

I sent Mr. Brown ( I wrote a review about his service) photos of the rusted post, and was quoted $165 to repair it. Mr. Brown came out and did a superb job repairing the handrail, thus saving me $335. If I should need a total replacement of this 6 step handrail, Mr. Brown told me a new one made from a higher quality grade of iron than what Worth Iron used would cost $289. Once again, a much better price than Worth Iron, but also made of higher quality materials. Mr. Worth apparently works by himself, and is not easily contacted. I really feel Mr. Worth took advantage of me. His materials and workmanship were barely adequate, and his prices were MUCH higher than Brown's Ironworks. The rusted handrail Mr.Worth claimed was unable to be repaired is now as solid as it was when it was brand new. Mr. Brown replaced the rusted post with a solid piece, not the hollow, thinner gauge iron used by Worth Iron. I never even bothered to ask Mr. Worth what his "top of the line" handrails would cost. I was an auto technician, and know that iron is among the cheapest construction materials available. The $800 I paid Worth Iron for both handrails did seem to be excessive, but at that time he was the only wrought iron handrail contractor I could procure an estimate from. I would counsel anyone to seek out Mr. Brown for your wrought iron needs, Mr. Worth has proven himself to be an overpriced purveyor of marginal quality goods and services. I will certainly NEVER use Worth Iron again.
