Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I had a problem with my air conditioning system, which is when I discovered from 2 different contractors that the hot water heater was venting down instead of up. This was a clear violation of code and safety. They should have installed a short hot water heater that could vent up. When I called Sears to correct it, since they had subecontracted the installation, I was transferred from department to department, left on hold in excess of an hour, disconnected, reconnected to someone else to start all over, etc. They sent someone out to check the installation, but no follow up or connection to it seems to exist, and no one in authority to handle it directly.

WENT TO STORE & WAITED APPROX. ONE HR. WERE PROMPT, DIDN'T REQUIRE APPT., COURTEOUS. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING & SUGGESTED OTHER REPAIRS, BUT DID NOT 'PUSH' FOR EXTRAS.
