Dan took all of the stress out of mortgage shopping for us! As first-time home buyers, my husband and I thought that we could shop around online for a mortgage on our own--mortgage shopping turned out to be the most stressful, frustrating shopping experience of my life--the rates change everyday, so you never know what kind of deal you will end up with. After reading reviews for Norstar, we gave them a call and set up a meeting. Dan laid everything out for us and never missed a beat. He explained different types of loans, answered all of our questions, ran the numbers all kinds of ways to show us every option we had, and gave us exceptional advice on what we could afford. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but his love for his job is apparent-he was excited with us about buying our first home. After we found a house and put an offer in, Dan and his son, Ricky, were on top of it every step of the way. Dan found us a low mortgage rate after shopping around with different lenders and we were able to take care of all of the paperwork online. Closing went great-and because of all of Dan's hard work and amazing customer service-we never once had to worry about a tricky mortgage or details being overlooked. The best part was that we didn't have to pay a dime for all of this help...the lender Dan chose for us paid for the services.
