EAST HILLS CABINET

After 5 weeks, we were practically begging Ron from East Hills for an estimate. We went to his showroom to review his drawings and estimate. He claimed that one of the reasons he was taking so long was because of the time it took to prepare the drawings. Well, he ended up just using the drawings we had purchased and supplied from Manor House. Then, we had chosen a very specific solid wood cabinet. Ron suggested a veneer cabinet in its place because "it was the same thing". Well it wasn't the same thing, and even though it was veneer, his quote was substantially higher than Manor House. He had very little attention to detail - we had chosen very specific materials from our kitchen remodel, and he discounted that and suggested alternate, substandard materials which were not what we requested - and his quote was STILL higher than Manor House. He provided many excuses as to why it took him 5+ weeks to get a quote to us. But in the end, he was not even able to get the cabinets we wanted, and we wasted 5+ weeks waiting on him. Incidentally after he told us he basically couldn't even get the actual cabinet we wanted, I went home and found 2 distributors on my own that apparently he was unable to locate. Had we known upfront that he could not get the cabinets we wanted ,we would not have even considered East Hills. And we were very clear up front that we wanted THAT specific cabinet. So there was no excuse for this mistake. We decided to go back to Manor House for the cabinets, granite, sink, and hardware. But considering East Hills cabinets put us 6 weeks behind in our project!
