Gave Joe several days notice that we would be in Erie this weekend. He called and said he would be out either Sat. or Sun. He never showed up. I called him on Sun. 10/29/17. Left message on his phone, he never called me back.

"[Member Name Removed] As discussed, I came to your brothers house 2 times on Saturday after lunch, entered the porch and knocked on the back door. There was no answer either time, on a day in which you clearly stated someone would be there all day. You also stated that you would be leaving for home on Sunday morning. I have now made multiple trips both prior to this instance and on the day you stated someone would be home all day. At this point you can contact me and schedule a firm day and time for this 1 single garbage bag in the basement of your brothers house."

Not good! I have called Joe on several occasions when we were in Erie to come and pick up a bag of paint chips and materials he left in my brother's basement. Now today Sept. 25th. 2017 I have called him two times to set up a time on Oct. 10th to come and get trash. He will not return my calls. The bag in the basement is too heavy for me to lift. I called Joe a couple times when we were in Erie prior to this and he didn't return my calls either. Would not recommend Joe he is totally unprofessional!

"[Member Name Removed] I have gone against the advice of others and not responded to this complaint until this point. You file a complaint yet you leave out all the significant facts of the situation. I was hired to remove all peeling paint from the basement wall, seal all cracks and paint the basement with a waterproof basement paint. Upon arriving to do this work, I found your brother ill and injured from a fall he sustained the previous day. At that point, I personally took him to Urgent Care, spent two hours with him, until it was determined he needed to be transported to the hospital. I returned to his home, completed the paint removal and cleaned the basement to prep it for painting. I returned to your brothers home the next day and met with you. At this point you told me the job was on hold until your brother was released from the hospital. We discussed and agreed the bag being in the basement as it is not full and would be used to dispose of the paint supplies. After it was determined your brother had a MRSA staff infection and you would be taking him home to Ohio with you and the job would not be completed at this time. I did call you and schedule to come pick up the bag on October 10th. You did not return to Erie on October 10th not allowing for the bag to be picked up. As stated in your next complaint; on the next scheduled pick up day, there was no one home on 2 occasions. I have tried to meet your sporatic visits to Erie to get this 1 garbage bag. while it is not my preference, if you insist on submitting a bill for removal of this bag, I will happily provide you with my bill for transporting your brother to Urgent Care and time spent with him and meeting with the doctors along with the bill for the cleaning of my truck after it was determined your brother had a MRSA staff infection for your payment."

The provider was prompt and courteous and completed the job in a timely fashion. The provider kept the work area clean and disposed of all waste properly. The price for the job with in-line with the estimate. We will definitely use this provider again for future jobs and I highly recommend this provider to friends and family.

Joe was extremely prompt in coming to look at my projects and in giving me estimates. His estimate was far below any other I received, and he started the work promptly as well. His work is impeccable and the jobsite was as clean when he left as it was when he arrived. I have had him do numerous projects for me, and every time I receive this same amazing service. I have had a lot of work done in my houses in the past, and Joe is definitely the most reasonable price wise, the most "no nonsense" in general, and provided the promptest service of anyone. I would recommend him for any job without hesitation.

Joe was GREAT! Punctual, conscientious, and also fun to talk to. His work was top notch A+, and his knowledge was obvious and his ability to explain things to me, the least handy person on Earth, was outstanding. I have already recommended him to many people, including my neighbors and family.

I am BEYOND THRILLED with our new flooring. It looks amazing, and Joe was meticulous about putting it in just right. I'm so happy we found Joe to do our new install for us. He was professional, prompt, courteous, and an extremely hard worker. He was diligent about taking care not to damage our things while he was working and made sure he cleaned up any construction mess before he left for the day. He was meticulous about making sure that the flooring went in properly, even in the difficult spots where previous work made his job harder. He gave us an estimate that the job would take 2.5 days, and he was exactly right. He also gave us the right estimate for the amount of materials necessary for the job, so we didn't have to worry about having too much or too little.

Joe Behr's work is exceptionally good. His education and work experience has been as an engineer. He has taken all these skills to his new business. Joe is precise and profession; and,will not settle for doing anything but the best work. He arrives when he promises to; and, works steadily without needing supervision. I trusted him completely to have a key to the house when I was unable to be there. Joe worked so carefully on the flooring and left so little waste, I was able to return 2 unopened boxes to the store for a refund----(the store had initially sent one of their employees to do the measurements). I plan to call on his expertise once again within the next 3-4 months, as my list of home renovations grows.
