VICTORY LANDSCAPING

It went wonderful. His work is awesome. He takes pride in his work. The manager of his company is very nice and easy to talk to.

I spoke to Brad and told him what we wanted. Within a week we had a written quote detailing exactly how the project would look and cost. Once we agreed on the details, his team was out within a week and completed the project in a day.

Brad has done a few jobs for us in the past, so I called him again for this work. He gave me what I thought was a fair estimate, and I asked him to put us on his schedule.  The work was scheduled within two weeks, and completed in one day. He actually came in under estimate by $150 if I recall correctly. He used less landscape fabric than anticipated, so the material cost was less. I appreciated his integrity and the fact that he passed the savings back to us. I paid Brad by check, and he said he would be back the next day to spray with Roundup for a separate area where brush was cleared but no planting was done.
Brad didn't show up the next day, or the day after that, or the week after that, or...
So I left email and voice mail messages. When Brad finally returned my call, he said he had been delayed by weather, and would be out the next day.
But it rained the next day so Brad didn't show up that day, or the day after that, or the week after that, or...
So after 5 or 6 weeks, all the brush had grown back and I gave up on Brad showing up. I went to Home Depot and bought a sprayer and a bottle of Roundup concentrate and got to work on the overgrown brush. Once it dies I'll have to whack it down, rake it up, bag it, and put it out for yard waste pickup.
This soured me on the service which is too bad since the bulk of the job was performed in a timely and professional manner. A phone call from Victory to manage my expectations, and probably 30 minutes of spray work at my house (before the brush had grown back) would have made all the difference.
This is the third or fourth job we've had Victory do for us, and we've never even gotten an estimate from another landscaping company.  For "Hire Again?" Angie's List requires you to answer either yes or no, but I am undecided at this point in time.

If I could I would give them a triple "A", not just an "A." If he saw something that needed done, he asked me and did not charge anything extra. For the price I paid I was amazed at the job he did. He does so many things around the yard and he proved that at my property. He made it look beautiful. He was a very pleasant person.

He is also fully insured and gave us a free estimate the day before. I could not turn down the excellent price he gave us for the amount of work he did. He came out the very next day which was nice. I did not have to wait weeks for them to come out. 

It looked like a jungle before he did the work, and I am still amazed at how good of a job he did.

They are responsive, professional, and trustworthy. The cleaning job that he did was very good.
