 + -1 moreThey installed the unit very quickly and were very nice. When they finished and left... I found I had to finish filling in the holes to the outside walls they mad for the venting. I found that they had cross wired my humidifier with the thermostat... so I could not shut the heater down, it went up to 98 degrees and they were of little help on the phone... I figured out how to shut it off on my own. I paid for service and parts... Ive been waiting over a year for them to come out to fix the humidifier they cross wired... I get lots of promises and they never show up.. They were the biggest mistake I ever made!

 + -1 moreIt really went well! There were 2 competitive bids. His was better. I also checked out his references and heard nothing but accolades. He was also very thorough in his explanation of what he was going to do and provide. There was no pressure and not only was he likable but he also seemed very sincere. The work went right as planned. They completely cleaned up after they were done and he called a few days later and asked if I was satisfied.That simple call and gesture was the icing on the cake. I will refer them over and over again. Last but not least, my wife was happy with my decision to use his company. That's actually the whole cake!!!

Description of Work: On 11/11/2015, I contracted with TJ Heating & Cooling LLC. To replace my gas boiler and hot water heater. This is by far the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. They came on 11/20/16 as they were supposed to. After connecting the new boiler and hot water heater, I was surprised to see water all over my basement floor! I was told the water would evaporate and they left. I used my wet-vac and got up the water. That night I went back into the basement and there was water all over the floor again. I called on 11/20/16 and got the water up again. I called on 11/21 and was told to remove cardboard from the condenser pump. It started pumping out water into the drain at this time. I was told it was a mistake by the shipper. After looking at the heater I noticed they had replaced my 96K Btu boiler with a smaller 77k boiler. The boiler was not even the Weil McLain Ultra 105k Btu boiler I contacted for. It was a cheaper model, a Weil McLain GV90+. When I complained, I was told it's the same thing! It goes on and on. Please save your money and get another company to do your job. They did come and replace my boiler with the correct one on 1/7/2016. It called "theft by deception".
