Very easy, professional job.  The new countertops are great.  Nick created a wonderful transition from the new granite countertop to the backsplash with a beautiful tile trim (no one else could figure out what to do and suggested replacing the backsplash instead).  He fixed a number of odds n' ends in the kitchen and laundry room (screen doors, trim work, etc.) -
Nick's team was always polite, professional and easy to have around the house.  This is particularly important as I work from home and can't tolerate a lot of distractions.  They made all aspects of the job (and clean-up) easy.
Use them, you will be pleased.

Wow!  I wish I had the deck built a year earlier when I first contacted Nick so we could have enjoyed it a little longer.  What really impressed me about Nick was the pricing; he was not only really reasonable, but also highly responsive.  I also liked that he was able to incorporate my ideas and changes without any fuss.  He first gave me an estimate when I wasn't in a position to do the deck.  When he returned one year later, the only change in the price was due to changes I added.  Unbelievable!
The deck is/was gorgeous.  It became a major selling point for the house.  The workmanship was excellent and it was finished on time and on budget.  So impressed that I have hired Nick for other projects and people who have seen my deck have hired him as well.  A+

Nick gives an estimate and sticks to it.  If there are changes in the plan that result in more or less money, he notifies you immediately and in the case of it costing less, gives you the lower price.  Amazing in this day and age!
The job was completed despite huge weather challenges and the crew was always pleasant and professional.  I highly recommend Nick and his team.

Well... February in not a good time of the year to start construction of a deck.  Once the snow thawed and the rains came it all turned to a cold muddy mess.  Nick and co. worked through it all.  Although there were a few material snafu's (my fault) the job was fairly straightforward.  Once the deck was completed Nick was available at a moments notice to settle the few small details that remained.  He also was very professional when confronted with the few problems that popped up.  Now we're well into the summer and the structure is still standing, hasn't swelled or twisted out of shape, hasn't cracked in half or had half of the screws unscrew...so far it's doing good.  We are happy with everything and thank Nick and co. for their hard work.

Rosini construction emailed a reply right away and then contacted us by phone to set up the day and start time. We had to wait longer than anticipated, but the company was here as scheduled and completed the project as promised. Rosini construction was careful not to get asphalt on the grass, garage and sidewalk. Overall, they did a good job and I would recommend them to others.

I chose to contact Nick because he had great ratings on Angie's list with great reviews.  I don't know how he has a high rating.

The initial meeting with Nick went well.  When we got the quote, the estimate for installing a combo light and vent in the master bath seemed really high. We asked him for a better itemized estimate and the vent and duct was much more expensive than what i've seen price shopping.  He said the cost of the duct to go through the attic is expensive bc he uses a higher quality that is above code. We didn't buy into it and we agreed that we would buy the supplies and he would do the install. The day of the repair he showed up with 2 other gentlemen. Nick and the electrician worked on installing the bathroom vent. He didn't realize the switch I purchased required a third wire bc the vent also had a night light. He apologized for not catching this before installing and left it without all the parts functioning.  I asked him to have all the switches functioning and he charged me extra for the work.  He said it would take him a couple hours to run another wire and he didn't have any of it on him. After he came back from purchasing the wire it took him 15 minutes to run the wire. That's when I felt scammed for the price. This should have all been included in the work he was supposed to do and I felt like he charged me for something that took little work at all.  His work on the leak of the bay window is acceptable at best. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Response from Rossini Construction
"This scenario is why I usually include materials into my estimated cost or at least recommend the items needed to purchase. Due to the homeowners decision to buy a lighting fixture that the house was not originally wired for in the first place without notifying me of the choice of product and additional work it would entail. When we had realized she had purchased a light that would need an additional wire run we agreed to complete this additional work for a mutually agreed upon and negotiated price. Our initial estimate included installing a light fixture and no where in the scope of work was fishing a new a new wire into the wall to feed an additional separate light within the fixture. We feel our price for the additional wiring was very fair, and would beat most other competitors cost for the same work. The extra wiring may have only taken an hour to complete with two men, but that does not include the extra time or cost spent to run out to the store to purchase additional wire in the middle of the day. Our original quote also included ventilation ducts needed to vent the new exhaust fan through the roof. Our price included materials to install this vent to be code compliant. The much cheaper flexible vent that was purchased by the homeowner to save costs would not have been installed or purchased on my recommendation due to the fact that these cheaper flexible ducts can cause future issues including condensation build up and and leaks down the road. Which is why they are not code compliant for this use in some townships. We take pride in our work and complete each job to last the test of time and will not cut corners in order to save money on materials now that will result in a better final result. The window leak was fixed and tested to confirm, it was noted at the time that the other contractors who had looked at the job had not even located where the water was coming from. After the job was completed, we walked through each project completed and the customer had approved of each item before payment. We guarantee all of our work and hope that each customer is fully satisfied at the end of each job we will go above and beyond to address any concerns our customers may have before we leave each job."

Nick has a bad problem with keeping appointments.  He does do good work.  During Sandy the cover over the A/C unit flew off.  We tried to contact Nick and he did answer to set up an appointment to come out.  The day came and he never showed up.

I found Nick on Angie's List and hired him to do a deck/patio project at my home.  He impressed me from the start with his knowledge, professionalism and courtesy and quickly delivered a proposal that was reasonably priced and reflected exactly the scope of work I wanted done.  He and a small crew worked quickly and efficiently to dismantle an old collapsing deck and build a new one with a different design and stairway.  Throughout the job, Nick was very easy to communicate with, always responsive to my concerns and eager to take care of any problems that arose with a great resourceful "can do" attitude.  The patio project (underneath the deck) involved digging up massive stones (including a concrete block that unexpectedly was 2-1/2 feet thick and needed to be removed with a jackhammer!), laying new stone, putting in a drainage system and installing an underdeck.  Nick took care of all phases of the job extremely well, often finding good ways to solve problems that arose and to improve the overall design.  He also handled a frustrating delivery problem of underdeck materials, giving me regular updates and working around the delay as much as possible. He was very responsible about cleaning up, planting new grass and getting everything done, coming back after the work was complete to take care of one last detail.  When it was finished, the new deck and patio came out even better than I expected.  I can honestly say that Nick did an excellent job on all fronts and was a pleasure to work with.  I would highly recommend him.

Nick was terrific.  He returned my call promptly, sent an estimate the next day, scheduled me for the following week.  He was on time, on budget, professional, courteous.  He was able to look at a wide range of projects -- talk about the solutions simply and clearly, and make good recommendations.  He left the place spotless....and he's just easy to work with.  I had a problem with another job later that week and called Nick.  He came back and repaired the door the other contractor had left hanging.  I highly recommend him.

It took several visits to finish the job due to the time required for the filler to dry, then sanded, and then painted. Nick was patient with the process, and very flexible.  Special kudos for dealing with all of the puppy dogs!

The job started as a "handyman's" work to complete the work left after we discharged the contractor that was hired to do a total house remodel. As this work started, it was evident that the prior contractor did not build according to plan or code.  Nick patiently detailed the issues and advised us to bring back the engineer who designed the initial structural work.  Their collaboration allowed us to see a final product that we thought we had paid for with the original work.
Nick has a great eye for detail and goes above and beyond making sure we understood what was entailed with the rework.  Our "little" finishing job took almost two months -- to retro fit structural beams, redo the wiring, get the permits approved and inspected and to do the "cosmetic" finishing we needed to begin with.

He ended up leaving here, and not finishing the job. I am sixty three years old, a friend and I had to get up on ladders and finish the job. I looked him up on Angie’s List, and he has got A’s from other people, but I don’t know what went wrong here. His prices are A plus, absolutely A plus, but his work is sloppy, and he comes in with extra stuff. I had paid him the full price he quoted, and yet I ended up with a job I had to finish myself.
Response from Rossini Construction
"Member, I had told you that I would have no problem to provide and install the special ordered gutter guards you requested. As I had stated before hand the gutter guards were not included in the price, as you should have known considering the price I charged would not have even purchased the gutters and guards alone. I had the guards ordered when I received a voicemail from you saying you had someone else coming to do it. As you already know I strive to make every customer happy, and provide the best possible work. We did a deck and retaining wall/ waterproofing before for you which you were pleased with although i did not receive a report for that work. All work that was billed and paid for was completed. I never have and never will leave a job uncompleted or take money for work not done. I am a very fair and honest person as my track record shows."

The one small issue that we had is that Nick neglected to notice that two of the screens needed for the porch are larger than the others, and the screening that he brought intially (which he got from Lowe's) was too small. He had to order the larger screening. Therefore, it was another week or so before the job was completely finished. But he installed a nice doggie door in the bottom of the one screen door which entailed construcing a base for it. Then he went out of his way to get an additional heavyweight mesh screen on either side of the doggie door to prevent the dog from going out any way but through the doggie door. Not only does it work, it looks very nice as well.
While he was here finishing up that job, I asked him to do a few small jobs like fixing the door to the cabinet that holds the garbage can. He went to the store and got new hinges and chains, and the door is now better than ever - with a nice tight fit.

In the meantime, he repaved the entryway fixing some additional areas that we had not initially discussed but which made the job look all that much better. There was no charge for that extra work.

I cannot say enough good things about Nick Rossini. I am out of town almost every other week for work, so I didn't realize that the replacement windows (replaced maybe 4 years ago) in my kitchen had started to leak badly when it rained. It had probably been going on for at least a month when I noticed it. Ugh. You can imagine. I called a few people on the list, but only Nick said he could come out the next night, which was crucial since I was leaving again, for two weeks. After a full day of work, Nick came over at 9:30 pm (he had been in touch to let me know his timeframe and to make sure things weren't getting too late for him to come over and give me an estimate). He told me his assessment of what had probably happened when my windows were installed and gave me an estimate on the spot. We shook hands and I gave him a house key, since Angielist has never steered me wrong yet and I had a good feeling about him. Also, I didn't have too many options - my flight was leaving the next day and it's been a wet spring - something had to happen.Nick was very communicative through text, as he said he would be, while I was gone, and when I got home to Philadelphia from Minnesota the windows were totally squared away. No leaking AND no cosmetic changes in my kitchen. I truly don't know how he did it, though he did explain. As a woman living alone with no family nearby, I really appreciate having someone I can trust and depend on to do what he says he will when he says he will. Nick's my go-to guy - DON'T CALL HIM!!!!!! I still have some things I need him to fix!

I contacted Nick based on recommendations here on Angie's list, and immediately he was responsive and easy to work with. I had a short time frame for the initial estimate due to the home inspection deadline for the house I bought, and he came right out and was able to schedule the work for a few weeks later after closing. He was prompt, within his very reasonable budget and was knowledgable about all aspects of the job, as confirmed by independent sources. I have recommended him to others and would hire him for further work without hesitation.
