We had replacement insurance-which meant-Penval would charge our insurance company with the highest possible amount, then buy the cheapest possible products, installed by the lowest bid contractor. As if that weren't enough-they regularly broke stuff and charged us to fix it.
We could never contact them when we needed to,like when the tarps flew off the roof in the middle of January, and got caught in the trees in the front yard.Or when the snow and ice was dropping off the tarps INTO the house...or the house was flooding(again)because nobody at Penval really cares about our house. They think everything is replaceable-it's NOT.
Our house was NOT empty. Many of our rooms still had stuff in them-and those guys went through EVERYTHING.
If you are lucky you will find someone else to do your construction work or restoration.
