John's work on both the dishwasher and garbage disposal install (2 separate installs) was excellent. John arrived on time as scheduled and all work was done promptly. John explained the install activity and the equipment operation upon completion. Both have worked flawlessly since the install.

Communication was excellent.  This is a very responsive, friendly and professional husband-and-wife business.  They were able to schedule an appointment at my convenience within three business days of purchase.  Mr. John Schoeffling personally came to my home and did the work.  Task was completed quickly and perfectly.  Very pleased and I will use them again for other misc plumbing issues.

Great. He was on time, friendly, knowledgable, and worked around some problems that came up because of our old existing parts.

John arrived on time and did a great job installing my new kitchen sink and powder room toilet.  He is very efficient and very conscientious.  He does great work!  John has been doing plumbing work for us for over 15 years!  I always recommend John when someone I know is looking for a plumber.

On a Tuesday, I had a company tech out to do my yearly check on my heater. He came down and told me he found some water at the bottom of my hot water heater (on the tray). I called John Schoeffling Plumbing within the hour. His wife, Michelle, was very nice - naturally, I was very concerned about water coming through my closet (my heater is upstairs in a closet directly over my bedroom. I live in a townhouse with someone underneath me so no basement.) It was barely wet and seemed to have condensation on the top valve. She called me back with a price - recommended one they would get at a supply house - said it was a better model then what you get at box stores. I never realized there was a difference. We set up an appointment for Thursday morning. She told me to call immediately if I saw any more water in the tray. It was only a few drops - I had been thinking I should replace the hot water heater since the house is about 15 yrs old and especially because of the location upstairs.
They arrived at the scheduled time, did the job in an hour or so. They used the upstairs bathroom to drain, etc. John was very professional, dressed very neatly, and very kind. They put everything back in the closet, left the bathroom immaculate and I haven't had any problems since.  I have very light carpeting and they had to carry the heater upstairs and down a hallway to the heater room.  There were no marks on the wall, the rugs, etc.
I had gotten John's name from his business card which was on the bulletin board in the mail room of my community.  I have since spoken with several of the ladies who have used Schoeffling Plumbing and all have been very satisfied and happy.  Since we are an over-55 community, it is nice to have a local plumber who does good work and most importantly, we can trust to be honest and professional.

This company installed a cook top purchased from Lowe's in November.  It took weeks just to be them to come and measure for the cook top to make sure the one I chose would fit the opening.  Once that took place in the beginning of December Lowe's ordered the cook top which took almost 3 weeks to come in, after I was told from start to finish should take no longer than 2 weeks.  Schoeffling plumbing called and made an appointment for January 9, which I called Michelle Schoeffling and rescheduled for Monday January 16.  Thinking that the install was being done on the 16th I arrived home on January 9th to find they arrived and did the install.  The problem, the only person at home at the time has alzheimer's and didn't understand what was being done or why.  The house was in a complete upheaval all the pots and pans under the cook top was full of sawdust, everything in the kitchen was a complete mess.  I call ed Michelle to inquire what happen with the scheduling and she had no answer, but did say she would send the service man back out to clean the pots and pans.  I felt she was being sarcastic.

The last 2 projects I tried to have him complete, his wife accepted the job, made the appointments, and he canceled 1 hour before. The first job was an emergency and I had to find someone very quickly to replace him. The second project his wife rescheduled at least 4 times, before they finally broke off contact. I am the fool for being so accommodating, but I just don't see the professionalism in their mode of conduct.
