Response was very fast.  The technician arrived within half an hour of the phone call and took around 20 min to replace the part.  However, 3 weeks later a bill came that listed the hours of labor as 1.5 hrs.  No minimum fee for coming out had been discussed beforehand.  When I asked about the extra time that was added the response was that the technician needed to drive to the store first to buy the part and that I was charged $95/hour for this.  None of this was agreed upon beforehand and the company did not return my phone call to discuss the bill.

He looked at the leak. He went upstairs to the bathroom and directly to the toilet. (which had been working fine prior to his arrival). He removed the toilet and replaced the wax seal [he noted that it "wasn't as bad as he thought it would be". I said "Because of the size of the leak?" He said, "Yes"] He replaced a bolt as well. He flushed the toilet twice in my presence (it worked fine) before replacing the seal. When I returned he said the flush ball was not working and he replaced it.  When we went back downstairs, I asked if he was going to open the ceiling. He said that he wasn't going to because it's usually the toilet seal.  I had told him about the leak 6 yrs ago.  This current leak was large and damp, clearly the drywall was going to need to be repaired, so there would be no harm in opening it. He left and said to call if there were any "further problems". I contacted another plumber and got the proper repair done. It was a leak in the condensate pipe. It was discovered upon opening up the ceiling.  Meanwhile, I received a bill from DiRosato for $213.94. Considering nothing was wrong with the toilet and no services were performed that actually took care of the problem, I felt this was an outrageous fee. I wrote and requested that the absolutely bare minimum Di Rosato could do to resolve the situation was to charge only 1/2 = $115.00. A representative called me to acknowledge receipt of the letter. He apologized for the "miscommunication" and noted that they only open ceilings as a last resort.  He said Mr. DiRosato had authorized an adjustment to the invoice to $115.00 which I paid immediately. I would never contact this plumbing concern again for any reason.

I had out of town guests coming to stay for the weekend and had a clogged drain in the guest bathroom.  I called and they were able to come out and fix the clog the same day before my guests arrived.  Very happy with the work and very quick turnaround on the scheduling.

The man who answers the phone is very helpful. I have also found the technicians who come out universally efficient and knowledgeable. I do think their pricing is disconcerting, because they can't tell you when you call for a job what it will cost but instead bill per hour per worker, and the bill comes later in the mail rather than when the work is done. However, for my particular system, I need a plumber AND heating expert who works with GAS, and this company seems to be very experienced with gas-powered steam radiator systems where many companies don't even deal with them at all, so I really trust them.
