Art forgot to put in their schedule, when they came 2 days later the driver damaged the gate, cracked the cement. I’m missing a candelabra and 2 finals for my bed, they also scraped entire front of my hand maid trunk. I’ve tried repeatedly to resolve this with “Art” who claims he has been very busy. Terrible customer service, terrible experience and terrible leadership of this company. “They like to move it” “Steal and break it” is a much more correct accurate description.
Response from I Like To Move It Move It

"1st I’d like to thank everyone reading this review. I’d also like to send a special thank you to those reading my response. Here’s my honest reply: [Member Name Removed] is 90% correct. This move took place last Thursday (29th) I believe around 5pm. My ‘usual’ crew was working all day that day since 9 in the morning so around 3-4pm they called me exhausted and tired asking if I could find replacements for [Member Name Removed]’s move. I said sure and quickly found ‘replacements’. The new crew arrived around 5ish. They did their best but yes they made some mistakes. To err is human. The driver backed into the gate bending the pole but remember it was dark (no excuses) 2nd they probably made scratches to her trunk (I don’t know but I didn’t ask them either) and maybe perhaps misplaced her candle holder (they never got a chance to check the truck afterwards). All these things I don’t disagree with but to claim they stole a candle holder is ridiculous. Like who would do that? Lol. I digress. Here’s the part of the story where [Member Name Removed] forgot to mention. [Member Name Removed] texted me that night telling about these things and I responded with ‘I apologize etc etc’. [Member Name Removed] stated she’d get an estimate about the gate and contact me later. A week goes by and then YESTERDAY (November 4th) she texted me saying she’d like a $200 refund. I said ok I’ll send it through PayPal. Remember this was YESTERDAY. Today (the 5th) she leaves this review with false claims of her repeatedly trying to resolve this matter. Repeatedly? You just texted me YESTERDAY. No calls. No emails. Just a text msg YESTERDAY. And to top it off she never gave me her PayPal information??? I’m at a lost but honestly it’s 2020 so nothing surprises me this year. With all that being said I’d like to end this with a statement. I ART, the owner of ‘I Like To Move It Move It’, take full responsibility for any and everything that happens with this business. Those who are in the customer service business already know. I do my best to keep my word and if necessary make wrongs right. Patience is a virtue. Once again I Thank you for reading my response. God bless! I hope and pray everyone makes it through 2020!"

Working with these guys was AMAZING. They were right on time, were so fun and professional, and handled my one-bedroom apartment (from loading to unloading everything) in under 3 hours! I couldn't believe it. The truck was also adorable - painted with the Madagascar theme! I would recommend this company over and over.

I like to move it move it sent two nice gentlemen to help me move, Victor and Ronald. They were great with communication and called me when they were headed to my location and gave me updates as they got delayed with traffic. They worked very fast and were gentle with items that were more breakable. I like to move it move it answered very fast once I put in the request for a move which was only 3 days in advance. I was very appreciative that they could make time for me to get the move in as quick as possible. I would definitely hire them again.

I set things up via a Angie's list and text. I sent detailed description of everything thing I needed moved. I said it was a 3rd floor move to another 3rd floor move. I was sent the bill Sunday and I paid for services the day BEFORE my scheduled move. As I was asked to do. I texted him and told him I had paid could I get an time of arrival. He said between 1 and 2. Around 2:30 the day of the move I receive a call saying they are waiting on the elevator to drop off their last two pieces and they will be there 20 mins after that. I said so around 3? That's OK seen you then. 2:48, 2 young men show up, take one look around and say they have a to call their boss and ask for help and then they would start soon as they talked to him. They sit in their truck for over 40 mins. All while the Owner texts me saying it's 150 an hour for 3 men. I said how much more am I expected to pay so I can get this done. He never answers the amount.. He says he will try and stay in my budget. I'm asking again are they going to get this done I have a dead line. He says they wl get it done if I use the 3rd guy. Saying his guys just did a place with stairs and theyr tired. I ask again well how much more so I have to pay. I took a non paid day off work.. And waited all afternoon. Finally 40 mins of waiting they come inside to start they take 3 boxes down stairs and then I get another text saying it's too hard to breathe. My landlord has a dehumidifier running for the last week due to a small fire to a building next door. The air is fine. No one at the apartment has said anything it was just precaution to keep any water or smoke damages from occurring. Honestly I think over all he was trying to be fair to me and his employees. But his employee's are not up to the task if being full time movers. They're too young to handleoving more than one place a day. I did not like or under state the amount of work my job was. He should have taken into account what his men were capable of doing and either rescheduled my for another day at the very beginning or just told me he was too booked to get the work done. I had to get my money back via apple pay because he didn't know how to use his quick books and his venmo was locked. Overall he was trying to take care of his men who cares what the customer paid for right? Wasted a whole day prepping bot locations to make it as easy as possible from them to do their job and now It looks I will be doing this move on my own because I don't have time to find another moving company.

Overall, we had a very good experience with I Like to Move It Move It. JR, Caleb, and Dion really hustled despite the extreme heat and took care with our items. The price could also not be beat.

I really enjoyed the two guys I was working with. They were very considerate. They could not get the freight elevator to work at my new place. They carried everything up the steps.
