Jim did an amazing job taking my orangey (then painted grey) oak cabinets to a nice off-white. He removed the paint and gloss and sanded them down to the wood. Then he did a spray refinish and added a durable top coat. Excellent!

The painting on my cabinets where done really good. they looked new but the walls where stretched thin on paint.

He said he had the skill set for a remodel and he did not. He caused us more money than needed due to his lack of knowledge and then quit on us knowing we had a deadline. He even said he could install a microwave and he could not, it was not usable the way he installed it.

I used Jim's services to install and repair drywall. He is a true professional. Jim is prompt, courteous and above all provided excellent workmanship. He provided a detailed estimate and when all was finished came in under that quote. His honesty is unquestionable. Jim, owner and operator of Harvey Houseworks is a great repairman! He was out to the house to give a bunch of estimates on projects. His estimates were very detailed and easy to understand. We hired him to do abariety of jobs around the house. Showed up early and stayed till jobs were complete. Hired him for other projects already! Highly reccomended!

After receiving my quotes Harvey Houseworks was the cheapest. He answered my emails immediately and offered to come over to see the project to answer any of my questions. I was looking for someone to mount two big tv's on the wall. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. I felt absolutely no pressure to use him at all. He was on time and showed up exactly when he said he would. On the day he completed the work he finished everything and it was great. He stuck to the quoted price even though it took him a little longer to finish the project than he thought. My tv's were mounted beautifully. I can't get over how well-centered on the wall they are and how easy he made everything look. He came back a couple of days later to change out some outlets for me and again was very professional. He left my house just as clean as it was when he started. I would highly recommend Harvey Houseworks for any projects.

I contacted this business. I provided pictures and we agree to complete three tasks for a certain amount of money. He did not bring a tall enough ladder to clean the gutters and could not complete that job. He did not finish hauling wood because he stated he incorrectly estimated the job and walked after being paid for the jobs he partially completed. I would not recommend this person.

Jim was professional. He was polite nothing was too much. He followed up on concerns we had about the project. Always on time. He is very meticulous. The work entailed: painting of the living and dining room and two story foyer; installing crown molding on the kitchen cabinets as well as sanding and painting the cabinets; installation of crown molding in the 2 story foyer; installing a fan in the half bathroom; cleaning of the fixture and window in the foyer. Great job.

Before it was acrylic and now I feel like it is a high end spa. We love it!
