Steve did not have anyone in the area so he came over and promptly repaired the lock on his own. He was friendly and fair.

Very professional, quick and punctual. I thought the charges were fair.

Went to their office location to have a key made from an existing lock cylinder for which the keys had been lost. Their office is a bit hard to find, being on the south-east corner of the building, but once there I received immediate attention from the friendly and professional staff. I had expected to drop off the lock cylinder and come back later in the day but the work was performed right then, quickly and the new key is perfect. If I need any other locksmith related work, I'll be calling on these guys again. Very pleased with the speed, accuracy and price.

The entrance is at the back of the building so it's a little harder to find. But once I find it, they are very nice and made me two copies in no time and even surprised me by not charging me anything. Although it's a small job, they left me a good impression and I will definitely keep them in mind for my future lock/key needs.

Called Brass Lock and Key based on the ratings from Angie's list. Told them we were closing on the 13th and needed to have the locks re-keyed. Dan called the day of the 13th and said he was in the area and could come out earlier if needed which was perfect for us. We told him that we needed to have dead bolts installed and all of the locks changed. He did not know we needed dead bolts and those had to be ordered. He re-keyed the first set of doors and ordered the deadbolts and we scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Benje and Dan came back Monday on time and installed the rest of the locks in a prompt manner. They cleaned up after the installation and were done in less than 2.5 hours. Very friendly and professional. Benje even helped carry some of our packages from our car as we were unloading the car as he arrived. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

I chose this company due to their low hourly rate and friendly demeanor on the phone. Benje was very professional and friendly and provided advice on existing safety features and felt that everything was okay as it was. I appreciate that he didn't try to sell me on something and provided me with his honest opinion. He did extremely professional work and cleaned up after himself as well.

Their service was really great. They charged a lot less than what I thought they would charge. They were prompt and very quick. I am glad we called them and we will use them again.

They were prompt and initially just came out to look at our back door. It took him only a few minutes to fix but he told us it would be free of charge. They are very professional and honest

I can't say enough about how great Steve and all of the guys at Brass Lock and Key were! When half of my key broke off inside my trunk lock the Kia dealership said it was hopeless and they'd have to order and install a new cylinder ($200+), and that I'd have to have separate keys for the car and trunk. Anyway, after I declined to have the Kia dealership order the cylinder, they kindly removed it and then closed the trunk again! So, I dropped the cylinder off to Steve at Brass Lock and Key at 10AM this morning, at 12:30 he called to say they had the key out, and if I came by they'd reinstall it for me. I showed up 10 minutes after he called me, and 10 minutes later they re-opened the trunk, reinstalled the cylinder, tested it, and the thing was as good as new! To cap it all off, they didn't want to take any money for the job! I gave them the cash I had on hand, thanked them profusely and headed off with a working trunk I'll definitely be calling them next time I need a locksmith.

The young man who came out had the patience of a saint! He got the lock working better than it has since I moved in, and it took him a good 45 minutes to get it working.
