Like so many contractors, Bruce can be difficult to get hold of, doesn't always communicate effectively, sometimes misses appointments. Although he is fairly knowledgeable about floor refinishing, the quality of his work could be better. Some of our floors ended up wavy from uneven sanding. I think he's not quite ready for prime time.

"Wavy and uneven floors were a result of the fact that the homeowner sanded the floors before our company started his job. We tried out best to fix the floors. Homeowner continued to delay our finish time because he decided to make repairs by himself, in the middle of his job. BJS Hardwood Floors stands behind our work 100%. If any of our customers are not satisfied with our products or workmanship, we try our best to address and remedy the problem. The homeowner never contacted our company to express any dissatisfaction."
