Description of Work: I started using Alterra's quarterly service in the summer of 2015. On the 3rd visit we started noticing ants after the service. I called and was told that they couldn't come back out for about 2 weeks because of employee issues. I was told they would be out on the day of the appointment by 4pm. No one showed up until after 6pm (I had called at 4:30 and was told that they were on their way). I was offered no apologies and the tech came in & treated the area and left without a word. The treatment did no good (ants were still there) so I called back & scheduled another appointment. This time no one showed up at all. They told me I had the date incorrect and they would be out the following day. I said I wanted to cancel my service & get a refund for the last quarter since the job had not been done properly. The manager was too busy to come to the phone, but the girl answering the phone said he said that would be fine - I could cancel & receive the refund. The next day I received a call from the girl I had spoken to the previous day letting me know that the tech was at my house. When I recapped the previous day's conversation she said she thought I was just cancelling that day's service & still wanted them to come out. I finally got the manager on the phone and he agreed to cancel the contract (he sent me an email confirming the cancellation) and he agreed to refund that quarter's fee - which he never did.

Description of Work: We tried them out for pest control, but didn't feel like it was as effective as it was with our previous pest control company.
