Brownawells Remodeling

I had a terrible time finding contractors in the Shippensburg area that would take on the project of remodeling the 1st floor of my apartment building in Shippensburg. I met with 3 contractors in 4 months and all were seriously lacking in professionalism and didn't even have the decency to get back to me after repeated attempts. And when they did it was non-committal. I found Rick thru Angie's list, he was in Newville, so just a short drive away. I received a quote and detailed response very quickly after initial contact. He was patient with me while I secured the correct financing for the project after we agreed to a price and schedule. After he started, it was non-stop. He was complete within 2 months time frame. The quality of the work was exemplary. The remodeled unit is gorgeous. I was kept informed during the entire process and was only charged for a minimal amount of change requests that I initiated. I've used contractors quite a lot and I must say Rick Brownawell is the most competent, trustworthy, and efficient contractor I have ever worked with. I would highly recommend him and would not hesitate to be an excellent reference for him.17257

Richard was very prompt in getting over to evaluate for an estimate, provided the estimate in a timely manner, and after we submitted the approved estimate our job(s) was (were) on his schedule fairly easily. He showed up promptly and at the agreed upon time and work was clearly done with attention to detail. He and his crew did a great job.

What a difference this stone fascia has made to the overall appearance of our home! We couldn't be more pleased.

Once again Rick called in advance to tell us when he would begin the job. He and his crew always arrived around 7:30 and worked hard until 3:30 or so. At the end of each work day they always cleaned up the job site. He and his crew are professional, prompt and courteous.

We are extremely pleased with the room. The heated tile is warm and works very well. The overall look of the room is just fabulous.

We felt the price was appropriate when broken out by the cost of heated mat, tile and labor. I believe the room was just under 700 square feet. We also had him top coat tile in all the bathrooms which was incorporated in this cost.

We highly recommend this company and continue to use them for additional projects.
