Wow! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The mechanics are super knowledgeable/honest about what your car needs. They take the time to diagnosis the issues and only perform work that needs to get done! You not only go for the amazing services, but also the customer service that accompanies it. I recommend that anyone looking for work done on their car come to Creighton's Auto Repair!

Creighton Auto Repair is a family owned and operated business. I’ve been using them for years and have always been happy with their work. Joe and Mike are excellent mechanics, courteous, and straight forward. They offer same day service and are reasonably priced. I’ll be taking my vehicles to Creighton Auto Repair as long as I am driving!

Amazing! Creighton's is the only place that I know of that provides a full printout of every diagnostic run on your car. They are always a pleasure to deal with. I know I'm getting the best service at the best prices and have recommended them to everyone I know.

I dropped off the wheel and tire at 8:00am and it was ready by 11:00am. I've been using Creighton's since moving to Newtown, PA from the People's Republic of New Jersey. Creighton's has always done excellent work and has been reliable and professional.

Creighton's gave us excellent service on ALL of the above required repairs and items. Very friendly, understanding, cooperative on scheduling and professional. Since there are several items listed, cannot give individual prices - but the prices for each service were all reasonable - and that is why we returned for service all three cars. Have used the early morning wait option only a couple of times, but it was very helpful to have the car back for little items right away.
Description of Work
On 2005 Taurus sedan (99,000+ miles), had all four brakes replaced, new catalytic converter, got 4 new tires. On 2018 Nissan Altima - just purchased (42,000 miles), got 4 new tires. The 2002 Toyota Camry, our third car, had a leaky valve cover gasket -- a PREVIOUS shop replaced it two times - and it still leaked. Creighton's cleaned off the engine from all the previous oil leaks, replaced the valve cover gasket -- and it has not leaked again. The 2002 Toyota Camry (150,000+ miles) also required a new starter/solenoid. We also did the inspections for the Taurus and Camry with them. Since the Altima was recently purchased, it was not due for an inspection. They also do our oil changes for the Taurus and Camry.

The crew at Creighton's is what all neighborhood car repair shops should strive to be. They are honest, dependable and know their cars inside and out. If I come to their shop with a problem they spend the time to diagnose it and discuss any plans for repair with me in a way that I understand, which a lot of shops can struggle with. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car.

The attention to detail from this shop cannot be overstated. I am an automotive nut, and any shop that can keep me happy is a top shop. I am super anal about my cars and they keep them running in top shape.

By the book. I supplied original manufacture's required fluids and OEM parts and Creighton did the rest. Creighton provided a price to do the work and stayed with it. No surprises, like at some of the dealers.

It is always a relief to have work done on your car and not worry about the quality and honesty of the shop. We have dealt with Creighton for a number of years now and if they say a repair is needed... It is needed!!! If they do a repair..... It is done right!!! We highly recommend!!!

They wanted $550 to swap the alternator in my car. LABOR ONLY. The dealer book says 0.8 hrs for this job. Creighton's may need twice as long? So 1.6 hrs. Their hourly rate cannot be $350/hr unless they are curing car cancer or something. It's just greed...and that's one way to lose customers and reputation.

Hello. As I'm sure you recall, we called you when we realized you were given the incorrect estimate. We caught our own mistake, you were given the labor for a starter replacement, instead of the alternator, and called you back. We pride ourselves on our honesty, as we did in this case. We do NOT charge $350/hr, our current labor rate is $104/hr. Unfortunately, we did make a mistake, but we tried to rectify the situation with you. I unexpectedly got a flashing engine light and needed to get to a shop ASAP. I called Creighton's Auto Repair and they told me to bring it in and they would take a look. The staff is super friendly and kept me informed through the whole process about what was going on with my truck. They didn't have the computer I needed in stock so they had to order it, I expected that. Came in after they called and my truck was back to normal! But, the reason they don't get an A rating is when replacing the tail light bulb they did not replace the two grommets that hold the back of the tail light in place so as I am driving away I could hear the rattling of the tail light lens. The grommets are a one time use and need to be replaced when the tail light is removed. It cost me $7.00 for the part and 2 day shipping and took less than 5 minutes to install. Not sure how they missed it as the lens cover was very loose. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the service I have received. I would try this shop again.
