When we had our sectional done, they came and picked it up. It was done sooner than they estimated. It was a very reasonable price. It has held up. When they did the sectional, I had a skirt from our bed and I had a window seat upstairs and they used the skirt to make a cushion for the window seat. Recently they have done our patio furniture cushion. I had specific material that I bought elsewhere and they used it. They are accommodating and they are efficient.

The Young Family is well known in Philadelphia for extreme quality at a high but fair price. Je, the daughter and business manager, showed us what we asked for : 40% cotton/60?% man-made. In fact, we found one floral 59% cotton. Fabric was LESS cost than on line.This is important and the and quot;old wayand quot; of making coverings down south. The man-made portion gives it longer wear. The cotton is sleek and pleasant to live with. (All the new furniture in stores is imported). After 4-weeks, we were called and I went 50-miles again across town to see the finished product. Every detail was on the original contract so we had to get over a slight language barrier.
They forgot some minor but important contract items- arm covers and ten new Nylon feet. Otherwise, it is was perfect job. One must visit Je's store and know exactly what you want. Then, go back and confirm the end product because of the language barrier. If done this way, a perfect job. We are very pleased.

Mr. Young recovered a thread-bare wing back chair for us. Nice work. He and his daughter run a good company. The work was done in May, 2011. We are going to see his daughter's selection of fabrics, even though it is an hour from Philadelphia.

We are taking our iPad pictures of the sofa and shairs. to them so we can see the selection of fabrics before we commit.

Young Kim picked up the chairs on 3/3 and delivered them a week later, which is almost unheard of!! I was impressed with the attention to detail and the quality of the workmanship. I sew myself and have made fitted slipcovers for chairs, so I understand how much work goes into reupholstry. My chairs were expensive and they were in great shape which is why I chose to reupholster them. Young also commented on the fact that they were high quality. I thought the price was fair, I did get a quote that was higher and one that was lower, but a friend recommend Youngs as she had used them before and based on the comments on Angie's List decided to go with them. I am not sorry and it was money well spent. They did a great job and in record time! I would definitely recommend them.

I have used them before, they are very prompt, they have free pick up and delivery, they do a nice job, and they are very fairly priced. The do exactly what they say they will do, do an excellent job, and do it fairly quickly.

They were very good.

He never called and never brought the chair back.  My wife called, and he said he was still working on it, even though he was supposed to have delivered it already. Today I tried to call and he said he hadn't brought my chair because his workers had been on vacation.  He said that the earliest he would be able to bring back my chair would be this Saturday, but he would have to call me at 8:00am that day to confirm. This is 2 weeks later than he said he would deliver it.  I am sure that he will not bring my chair back anytime soon.  I believe that part of the problem in this situation is the language barrier because he is Korean and does not speak much English.

We have a 25 year old 4 piece sectional, which had gotten to be thread bare. They came out brought some samples and provided a quote. We found them to be charming and helpful. When he returned the sectional it was beautiful and I couldn't be happier.

Great - I am very pleased and would use him again.

We called the company and they said they would come out and look at our recliner. He showed up when he said he would and told us that it was worth saving. It took him less than two weeks to finish. He did an absolutely beautiful job. With upholstery, price depends a lot on the the type of fabric that you pick. I don't know if people realize that. The pattern we chose was rather pricey but it was worth it.

We got several estimates and Young's was the best by far. They came to our house to pick up our wing chairs. It took approximately 3 weeks because we did the work around Thanksgiving. After the work was done, the chairs were re-delivered back to our house. Great experience overall.

He came out quickly on a Saturday morning with some samples. After agreeing on a price, he took both pieces back to the shop and said they would be ready in 2-3 weeks. 11 days later, they were ready. Both turned out beautifully. They added piping to the chair, made a new cushion, refinished the wooden legs, and made arm covers at no charge. The ottoman also appears re-stuffed. Both had new bottoms made. We are very happy with the work. This is a great chair that was ready for the trash. Now it's a great chair that will stay in our family for many more years.

I brought my own fabric. He gave me back the extra fabric. He was able to change the look of the furniture because it was a piece that was modern and I wanted it to look sleeker. I would recommend him and use him again.
