"Regarding the above complaint, Ms. [Member Name Removed] who is a returning customer did contact our company in the fall of 2017 to provide her with an estimate regarding interior basement foundation recoating and exterior concrete sidewalk and curb replacement at her rental home located at [Member Information Removed] South [Member Information Removed] Avenue Aldan, PA [Member Information Removed]. At the time of meeting with Ms. [Member Name Removed] at the stated address she stated that she was going to dispute the concrete work that was being required to be completed by Aldan Borough and she would contact our company with the outcome of the dispute. We provided a written estimate for both the interior work and the entire amount of concrete work required by Aldan Borough along with an approval form to be signed and returned to our company. Ms. [Member Name Removed] sent an email on or about February 16, 2018 stating to do 3 of the 4 items that were outlined in the written estimate, the approval was not signed or returned to us and she stated that she was still waiting for a response from Aldan Borough regarding her dispute. We did explain to her that as soon as the winter weather was over we would schedule the work to be completed. At no time did Ms. [Member Name Removed] state that if she did not get this work completed by a specific date that a fine would be imposed. We were in touch with Ms. [Member Name Removed] on several occasions and advised her well into March 2018 that we were still unable to start the work due to the continuing snow storms and cold temperatures. The actual season did not start until sometime in April, Ms. [Member Name Removed] was also advised that scheduled work remaining from the previous 2017 that was not completed had to be finished prior to starting her work. Completing the work from the previous year coupled with an extremely rainy spring/summer 2018 season further delayed our ability to complete the work for Ms. [Member Name Removed]. At anytime Ms. [Member Name Removed] could have hired another contractor and had the work performed since a signed approval was never received and a deposit was never taken by our company and knowing that she would receive a fine for not having the work completed by a deadline. Our company has been in the masonry and concrete business for over 33 years and in this line of work scheduling is always dependent upon favorable weather conditions, we strive to complete all work with attention to quality and in a timely manner."
"Thank you very much for your kind words."
