I'm SO happy with how this turned out. It's our second wave of painting in our new house - they took down some old wallpaper, patched up some pretty rough holes and finished up some wood work...the house looks brand new! They're a really nice team to work with (plus they showed up on time and cleaned up!) - I would highly recommend.

This review is way past overdue.  We bought our house just over a year ago and have had many unexpected and overwhelming surprises.  Because we found ourselves with a complete money pit, we tried to save money and consequently made some really terrible decisions. Looking back, Rick was one of our only good decisions. I couldn?t stress this more. One of the only things that?s held up well in this house is his outstanding paint job. This year has taught me a lot about what incompetency looks like.  We made a last minute decision to hire a new painter for our basement/family room (we did this to save money--figuring it?s only a basement).  It was a HUGE mistake.  Our house is old.  It requires extensive prep work.  Rick took his time preparing every room he worked in.  His men set down drop cloths, they took knobs off of doors and they meticulously taped and protected areas.  Rick?s crew always took their time getting every area ready.  As for the painting: they used bright lights, were absolute perfectionists and never over-brushed an area.  The family room (the room that was NOT done by Rick) became a room we didn?t even want to go into.  You saw brush strokes, cracks on the wall and even the original orange paint coming through.  It was the only room that looked like we painted it ourselves. My dream was to have Rick come back and fix our mistake.  At the time, it just wasn?t in our budget.  In the end, we ended up having close friends and family come to our rescue (since our family room wasn?t our only problem). Yes, it?s true that Rick doesn?t come cheap. However, as I?ve written, we ended up having to redo another painter?s mess while Rick?s paint job still looks like it did a year ago. You certainly get what you pay for. I recommend Rick to everyone in search of a painter.  He?s that good! And on a personal level, Rick is trustworthy, honest and thoughtful. He always kept us informed. His guys were courteous, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.  Save yourself a major headache. You don't get better than this. Spend the extra money on Rick Thompson.  You won?t be sorry!!

It is a service that you get your money's worth. He is honest and professional. I feel totally comfortable with hiring and leaving him alone.

They were a extremely professional crew from start to finish. Class act all the way. They did everything we asked, and more! I would highly recommend. I was very impressed and will definately use again.

HE HAS DONE PAINTING FOR MANY PEOPLE. THEY ALL SAY HE DOES A GREAT JOB. HE ALSO HAS GOOD PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR HIM.
