RDH Construction, Inc. is a General contracting company that can do evrything from replacement windows to additions. Kitchens to whole home renovations. Check out our website www.rdhcon.com and track us on facebook. We give free estimates and offer design services. Our areas of services include Delaware, Chester and Montgomery counties. We have a sister company, Flo-Tru Plumbing and Heat, Inc., which is a seperate company. We did this to control cost and schedule with one of the most important aspects of construction.

We asked Rob to supply a bathroom vent with a heater and to vent it to the outside . He did not put in a fan vent with a heater. The first fan vent he put in seemed too small and as the bathroom wasn't clearing of steam. W went out and bought a better vent fan with a heater to have him replaced the first vent. He said we have to use the same vent fan only. We still wanted one with a heater , but Rob said, " too late he can't start getting an electrician to do this", so they put it in, but the bathroom still wasn't clearing of steam. Then we found that Rob's men said they vented that bathroom to the soffits. BUT, In truth after two years and wet attic, we called him back. The men had just laid the vent tube on top of the installation and the bathroom was venting into our attic. Rob came and said, that he has been venting bathrooms for 25 years this way and we must need a new roof. For another $150. he'll come back and vent the bathroom through the roof, but we need a new roof. We said okay, but he was delayed getting back to us. Rob said we had roof damaged so we called a roofer. Who fixed the problem with the vent from the bathroom to the outside. The roof damage and the vent was $700. and told us we do not need a new roof for about 10 years.
The plumber, who was hired by Rob Hunter's Company had an issue with the tub set. The owner of the plumbing company sub contractor insisted that the set would not work. It delayed of completion of the bathroom. The tub faucet is in, but not lined up to the shower head. The whole job is messed up by that one tub faucet alignment. I hate the way it looks everyday.
Two days after completion of the bathroom the towel rack fell off the wall and a shelf started to pull away from the wall Rob came and fixed it. Two years later the towel rack fell off of the wall and at that point he was still supposed to vent the bathroom to the out side. Rob delayed getting back to us even though we said we would pay him. We had words, I fixed it myself . We were happy with Rob Hunter's work until the towel rack incident and he has lost our business.
If you use Rob Hunter please do not be nice about letting him talk you into what he wants or his subcontractors want. Get what you want.
