Ken was great! He responded quickly to my request for a bid and was punctual and professional. He repaired a portion of my kitchen subfloor that had water damage and then laid down new vinyl floor (floating floor). In only a few hours, I have a new floor and it looks great! And he was very clean .... Cleaned up all trash and debris. His pricing was also very fair. We got several quotes and he was by far the most affordable. Great price, great work, and a nice guy! I highly recommend.

He misjudged the amount of materials needed, but the quality of work is fine, and he's giving us a discounted rate on a backsplash as an apology.

Ken was wonderful.  He was punctual, professional and did a great job.  I purchased the supplies and Ken did the installations.  He removed our old flooring which consisted of ceramic tile and carpeting and installed bamboo flooring.  Were very happy with his floor install and then had him do our kitchen backsplash install.  He did a great job with that as well.  I will definitely use Ken again in the future.

Ken was wonderful in my ceramic tile installation. Very punctual and professional and finished the job earlier than estimated. He also was very helpful in our pattern design. I hope to use him again in the future.

Ken was an excellent guy to work with, providing top notch work.  He responded quickly and was at my house the next day for an estimate.  Unlike a lot of the other estimates I got, Ken was impartial and not picky with the materials I used, allowing me to purchase the supplies that I wanted.  Some of the people that sell and install floors can be very pushy, but not Ken since he?s not a salesman.  He simply provided me with a materials list (sq foot needed, as well as linear feet for transitions and trim/quarter round).  It couldn?t have been any easier.
 
 Overall, I would definitely recommend Ken and MQI to everyone looking to have flooring installed.  He really delivered on everything that was promised, on time, and with no short comings or complaints from me or my wife.  His pricing is the best I could find, and he didn?t have to sacrifice quality in the process.

Overall job was excellent and I would certainly hire him again. He was very courteous, down to earth and professional.

He provided an estimate and materials required, and I was able to shop around to get the materials. He did a really nice job on my floors. I appreciated his advice as I picked out the materials.

I actually went through the local big box hardware store for the flooring purchase and installation. Ken was the contractor they hired to do the work. Had I known ahead of time what a good job Ken would do, I would have called him directly and probably would have gotten a better price (even though the hardware store's price was about half of the estimate that I had obtained from a flooring company). Ken was very personable and did a terrific job. He even ran my stereo wiring under the floor for me. He tidied up after himself and hauled all of the trash away. When I have laminate installed in the rest of the house, I will call him.
