Went very well. My calls were answered, Mr. Mongelli came and discussed the work needed, (spot pointing) and sent the estimate promptly. I was called a couple days in advance when the workers were coming. They arrived promptly and got right to work. The pointing needed was completed that day. I also opted for a treatment to "waterproof" the brick and mortar to help reduce mortar loss in the future. A couple weeks after the initial work, I again received a call in advance and the man came to apply the treatment. Mr Mongelli came towards the end of the day for both jobs to insure everything was done to my satisfaction.

Mr. Mongelli was very responsive to phone calls and emails. He was never hard to get in touch with although he was very busy. I had the ribbon stone pointing done which was done very well. I just didn't realize that the color of the pointing work would be as dark as it was but we hadn't discussed color beforehand. I am pleased with how the work was done so overall it was a job well done! So I would definitely recommend him.

Michael Mongelli's crew did a great job removing all the paint, caulk, dirt, mildew, and mortar stains on the brickwork of our house, repointing it and the visible part of the stonework foundation below to create a uniform appearance, and cleaning up when they were finished. The work was performed over a two-week period not much more than one month after we accepted Michael's proposal (we chose his among the seven we got). The result (transformation!) was much better than we expected.

The project went very well - both chimneys look great, and there's no more leak. We also appreciated Mike's consistent replies to voicemails.

Great, Quick fair estimate. Work was completed on time. Site was clean. No additional charges for minor repair work beyond the original scope.

They  did a great job. The crew was professional and efficient. My house looks fantastic and I know that the walls are structurally sound.

Michael and his crew did the work exactly as it was written on the contract in a timely manner. They went a step further and tinted the cement used in the pointing a color comparable with the siding on our house adding to its' curb appeal. They also took great care by protecting the area with drop cloths and removing all debris. I highly recommend him and his company.

Excellent work. This is the second time we've used them. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them unconditionally to anyone who wants quality masonry work at a fair price. Very satisfied.

After several voicemails left on both Mike's cell phone, and his business line, as well as a number of emails, Mike finally returned our call and told us he would come take a look at our property.  He did, in fact, come out the next day and leave his business card in our front door.  However, it took numerous phone calls after that to tell him that we were waiting for his quote.  Weeks later, he finally returned our phone call and said that he would mail the bid the next day.  After a week and a half of waiting, we called him again several times, explaining that we had not yet received his bid in the mail.  As it stands, he has not yet called us back.  If he did not want to do the project, I would've much preferred he say that he was too busy, rather than stringing us along for several weeks on end, and simply wasting our time.  Overall, very unprofessional.

Great job. Pleasure to deal with and the workers are top notch. When the job was done the cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there. The job looked fantastic as well.

I called in early April for a brickpointing estimate for the rear wall of our house. Very polite woman answered the phone, took down my name and contact information, and said that Michael would take a look in the next couple days while we were at work and leave an estimate in our mailbox. Never received an estimate or a call back, unfortunately.

I never knew that Michael and his team were at my home. The Foreman met me the first day that they were at my home and when I came home everything was perfect. What I mean is that work looked fantastic, everything was spotless and you would have never known that work was done on the outside of my home. And the outcome was that the leak in my attic stopped.
I have recommended and will continue to recommend Michael to anyone who is in need of this type of service. If you want to have any masonry work done on your property Michael would be the person to contact. He has integrity and a solid work ethic and he transfers this to his team members.

We do not have any "don'ts" or complaints so "job well done"!!

The work took three days. On the first day Mike's crew set up scaffolding, repointed the upper half of a stone chimney, removed the scaffolding, and stacked all their equipment neatly on a side porch before leaving. On the second day they repointed both sides of a stone archway at one end of the porch. On the third, they fixed the brick walkway. Mike was there to speak with me before work started on the first day and again on the last. He explained what they were going to do and outlined what other steps could be taken in the future if this work didn't solve our chimney problems. The workmen were very professional, efficient and pleasant, and very skilled. The pointing is beautiful. My only regret is that they were a little too enthusiastic about trimming back trees and shrubs in front of the chimney. They did ask if it was OK to remove some branches before they did it, but I was surprised at how many they took. Otherwise it was a great experience, and I think the trees and bushes will fill in over time.

It was a very good experience. He was responsive, professional, and punctual. They did a nice job and were great with follow up. I would highly recommend them to others. The price reflects the size of my house.
