Things went fine u til the pool was leaking and Gordon had to come back and jackhammer up part of the pool deck. He left an enormous mess in my yard. Broke a fence, pulled the hose hardware out of my stone wall and left it there and patched the pool deck as pictured. It’s a complete mess, cement is all crumbled etc.

I had the whole back house area covered in large Plastic Cloths as I thought jack hammering and removing the old concrete would be very dusty and messy. I did not watch over them, which I should have. realized years later, Concrete was covered up on step and concrete pad And pipes not replaced As I thought they were, paid him $7900.00 for new concrete and pipes. Also Paid him for pool restoration, tile, and coping which was close to $10,000.00,

They did the work in the 90's and it is a mess now.  I thought they were given me new floor concrete and I just found out 2-3 years ago it was coated because it is peeling. It was coated and a large patch and I paid them almost $7800.  I just don't like them.  Watch him carefully, I spent a lot of money for a new concrete floor and it was just coated and I can prove it. I remember I thought they would be jack hammering concrete, I paid someone to put plastic everywhere over my house and windows because I thought they would be jack hammering.  Found a couple years ago it was just a coating, just a coating because it started peeling off and someone told me it was coating. I was mad.  He ignored me for years and then he came back and I gave it to him, not too badly but I should have given it to him more. I am going to have to hire someone else. You can see where it was patched not fixed you can see the cracks.

THIS GUY IS AMAZING.  I *cannot* say enough great things about his work.  He was extremely knowledegeble, very easy to work with, has great vision and does amazing work!  Every step of the way was better than the last.  We were under a tight deadline and he made it happen!  His crew was awesome!  They come in, the do their work, they clean up.  
I had been warned about pool companies and how they may come in and start a job but not finish it.. not this guy!  Gordon Johnson rocked it.  I have plenty of before and after pictures as well.  
I am so very, very happy with this vendor - and with my awesome new looking pool!  Thank you, Gordon!

I would highly recommend him for in-ground concrete pools. He has been doing it for years and he really knows what he is doing. He has a very good crew as well.

I didn't select them because their pricing was higher than the other bids that I got. The guy was capable of the work, it was just that his bid was high, like 20% more. I thought that the other bids that I got were from quite capable people. The only reason why I reconnected with them through Angie's List was because they originally built my pool in 1970, and it's still there. He gave me the quote that day he came out so he was more than punctual. He came when he said he was going to come, he quoted me right on the spot, he was very knowledgeable, was very pleasant to deal with, and was very professional.

They were great, fast, complete, and very thorough. They were in the same ballpark on price as everyone else. They were highly recommended to me by other friends. They got the job done in about 2 weeks. They came when they said they would and I would use them again. The cleanup was meticulous.
