J.C. Linton's card promises quality work, fully insured for all phases of tree care. Let me add a few other adjectives: knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, efficient and highly responsive. Jeff, the owner, contacted us to give a free estimate within a day of our initial request. He quoted us a fair price and we booked the work. Jeff and his team showed up on time, knocked on our door to let us know they were there and started work immediately. All three trees and the dead branches that needed removal were very close to our house. The work was done safely and efficiently. Cleanup was an ongoing process and by the time the work was finished, the areas where the trees had been were cleaner than before the work started. From start to finish, they did an excellent job. We have several trees that will need removal next year and we will be calling Jeff to take care of that and any other tree issue we may have. If you have any tree issues causing you worry, consider calling Jeff - we wish we had found him sooner!

Price was very reasonable compared to other estimates and Jeff was really great to work with. He was very flexible and patient with all my questions. He came back out with a log splitter to make some firewood for us from the tree that he took down, all for a very reasonable charge. I was also glad to hear that he takes all the wood from his jobs and turns them into firewood. Some places we talked to just dump the wood in a landfill. Great experience with these guys and would definitely use again.

Jeff Linton returned my request for an estimate/visit the same day I called and came out exactly when he said he would. I told him my objective. He went through the yard and identified the trees that would go. He came back two days later, both to show my wife what he'd be cutting down and to give an estimate. His price was very competitive, mainly because he works with small crews and operates almost exclusively with ropes and ladders and not cranes. He did just what I asked for. I have used him in the past (before joining Angie's List) and have always found that if you have any concerns, tell him and he will conscientiously address them (such as taking care to clean everything up and to not damage plants, shrubs, etc. that may be near the trees to be cut down). One further observation: Each of the last two times he's been here, a neighbor has subsequently hired him for jobs -- obviously after observing him at work.

Went great. Was very happy with the work and will contract with them in the future.

They did a very professional job. His prices were very competitive.
