Michael Curran and his team were great. They arrived on time, they were professional, and they did a great job.  Months later, I asked Michael for some help on another project.  He made several suggestions that ended up saving me a bunch of time and money.  Some of these guys like to scare you into jobs that are unnecessary.  These guys were honest and did good work.  Highly recommend.

Really well at all points. Mike came out quickly to check out the site, gave a ballpark estimate at the time, and quickly got us a written estimate which was in line with the rough estimate.
It took us a while to decide, and they scheduled it pretty quickly once we decided, and were very accommodating to our schedule (my wife had a baby literally the night before the work was to start).
Lowes had no problem installing carpet over the mastic left behind (Mike did offer to remove the mastic as well, but at significant additional cost ~$600 I think; after talking it through with him, we decided to not have this done.
Came in, did their thing (well!), cleaned up, and took off. What more can you ask for?

These guys were awesome. Dealt with both father (on the phone) and son (who managed the work) and they were first class all the way. Performed the tile removal safely and quickly and were good, trustworthy people. A+

Mike was responsive and punctual both in coming for an estimate and in scheduling the work. He gave us a thorough assessment of what would be done and how, demonstrating knowledge of the task at hand. His crew came on schedule and worked both fast and responsibly. They prepared the site carefully before proceeding with the abatement itself. Once finished they took air samples and waited for the lab results before letting us know that all was clear.

MIke Curran gave us a full explanation of exactly what was going to be done. They did a great job getting tiles out from under molding. They showed up on time, got job done on time and cleaned up.

Very thorough. Set up an airlock with filtration and removed all the asbestos pipe insulation. 2 day process for setup and removal and had a 3rd party come in and verify the air quality. Quality work for a competitive price. Would definitely use again (hoping I don't find a reason to though).

Mike is very responsive and came as scheduled to inspect potential presence of Asbestos in the attic. He honestly told me that no Asbestos was found and I really appreciate his help, honesty and professionalism.

Everything went very smoothly and on time. If I had any concerns or questions Mike's crew would address them right away so that I felt comfortable with everything that was going on. They definitely did a very good job handling and removing the asbestos tiles from my house. Everything left clean each day. Overall a very good job.

Michael responded quickly to my call to test suspicious insulation that my plumbers found. After finding a high asbestos count, he came up with a plan to extract the insulation. Michael walked me through the process and explained the testing and construction needs. His crew was very professional and thorough. They kept the chaos to a minimum. The whole process- wall removal, tenting, extraction, ventilation, samplings and clean-up etc.- took 24 hours!

Mr Curren explained all the steps in the job so that we knew what to expect and saw that the price was justified. Homeowner was responsible for removal of all items from laundry room (washer, dryer, cabinets, laundry tub, storage cabinet). Door openings were sealed with plastic sheeting to isolate work area. Job was completed in one day with air sampling same night. Some splashing of mastic removal solvent was on lower parts of painted wall; will need re-painting. Overall, very efficient work methods. Very experienced company in this type of asbestos abatement.

We discovered an old stack of asbestos roofing shingles that had been forgotten about and left in a corner of our garage years ago. Mike answered the phone personally. He had someone doing a job nearby. They came the same day and removed the materials.
Have had asbestos removal before by other contractors. Hometown did the best job, promptly, and at a reasonable price.

The team was professional, efficient, reliable friendly, and communicated well with us overall. At the beginning of the process, Mike did not promptly give me an estimate after I asked for one, but when I reminded him he delivered it. All other aspects of the job went extremely well.

Mike was terrific. We have a home on the market and found, to our surprise, there was a small amount of asbestos in a crawl space. Mime came out the day I called, inspected the rest of the basement and reassured us the rte wads none of the stuff anywhere else. He tented the crawl space within 2 days (on a Sunday!) He had the air tested by an independent laboratory, and it came back clean as a whistle.
Mike is a real pleasure to deal with, very professional. His price was very fair and reasonable. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

We had water damage in the addition on the back of our house. When the water mitigation people came to remove the ceiling and the wall, they found the addition was built up against the back of the house (read: old asbestos shingles). Mike answered the phone on the first call and walked me though the options and was at my house the very next day to confirm what would be best. He was able to seal and and quot;muckand quot; the shingles and test the air within a week keeping in line with our construction timeline. A great job done by a great company.

Mike got out to see the job and gave us an estimate promptly. His crew (including his son) showed up as promised and were very clean and efficient. He followed up to see if we were satisfied and promised to send the testing paperwork out as soon as possible.

I called Mike on Friday and he was out the very next day. Yes, Saturday morning! He took samples of my tile being careful to only remove a small enough amount in the right area so as not to disrupt the entire location.

When I called to schedule I got an appointment with in a week. They called me a few days before my appointment to say they could start earlier, which was great because I was in a rush to get the project started, They even removed a kitchen sink I had been unable to get out before their arrival. Friendly and courteous. They showed up on time, did a great job. there was no mess left behind. Great price as well I called several companies after I spoke with Michael. Other companies didn't include testing the air after work was performed.

mike called back right away and made arrangements to look at the problem. gave me an estimate. he showed up at the appointed time with a crew. they set up the and quot;tentand quot; and taped off the area. the work was completed on schedule. air quality verified by an independent lab.

We were a bit lucky in terms of weather. The three work-days were very warm for Philadelphia, so we lost little heat. The men were dressed in and quot;spacesuitsand quot; and were thorough in sealing the furnace room before starting. Mike stayed with the original quote and we made prompt payment. If we were going to purchase a house again, we definety would have called this company before or at the closing. The seller should have reduced the price for us. (Hopefully, the reader will have a home-check before buying their next house.) So far as HomeTown Insulation, LLC, they prove that it is worth the price, which was very fair, for an Angie's and quot;Aand quot;. That furnace room is as clean now as when it was built in the late forties. (Owners should keep the receipts and lab clearance inside of their safe, in case they ever sell or their heirs need it to dispose of the assets of the estate.)
