I don't know about building codes or concrete, that's why I hired Jason. He seemed to know what he was talking about, but I got scammed. In the spring we had a landscaper come out to lay pavers, he would not even give me an estimate because the sidewalk was not laid proper and was not within building codes. He recommended a full removal of the sidewalk and reinstall. This was confirmed again by another contractor.

My initial contact with the company started in March 2012 with Jason coming to the house and giving us an estimate. He was very professional, listened to what we wanted and gave some suggestions. He even made a point of calling me by my first name, none of the other people that looked at the job bothered to do so. After receiving qoutes from three other companies we went with prolawn because their price was the best and they were local, we prefer to support local businesses. We signed a contract with ProLawn at the end of March. Estimated date that work would begin was mid May.
Unfortuanatly, we had a very very wet spring, some weeks it rained every day, which caused ProLawn to be backed up on their work contracts. Actual work did not being until mid July. I cannot fault the company for the delay in starting, with landscaping and outdoor work everything relies on the weather. Every time we contacted the company we did get a response with an update on when our work would be completed. I do not have a past experience with this company so I can only go on that the weather was the delay in getting our project completed.
Work began Mid July. Every single person that works for Jason was highly polite and professional. The workers had to work in extreme heat, most days it was close to or topped 100 degrees. They showed up on the days that they said and started work very early and worked amazingly quick. Once again the weather was against us and we had to wait a week for the concrete to be poured. Concrete cannot be poured when it is too hot out. The delay was polity and professionally explained to us. They also worked on my flowerbeds which were heavily overgrown. In hours they had all of the flowerbeds around the foundation of the house cleaned out, fabric laid, bushes trimmed and everything mulched.
Once the patio was poured they came back the next day to check on the setting of the patio, removed forms and finished the flowerbeds. My husband noticed that evening that some concrete had spashed on the shed and on the siding of the house. He called Jason and he sent a person out to clean the splatters the next morning.
Total time to complete project once it was started was a week. If the weather had cooperated they would have been done in 3 days.
I would recommend Prolawn and we will use them again if/when we have other concrete or landscaping needs. Jason and his workers were polite, professional and courteous, even with my very curious 3 year old son. We have no complaints about the quality of the work they did and are immensely satisfied with our patio and fresh landscaping.
