WOOD FLOORS BY BRIAN GALEBACH

I had a wall-to-wall carpet removed in my living room about 15 years ago. I called Brian in 2013 after reading reviews on Angies list. He responded to my message within a couple days and within the week visited my home and gave us a quote. He and one helper came as scheduled and sanded the floors the first day. They hung plastic in doorways and kept dust contained. For the next four days they would come in morning, apply a coat of finish, and by the time we were home from work that afternoon we were able to walk on the floor. I was a bit skeptical that they would be able to refinish the floors to my satisfaction because they were in such bad shape after so many years. Happily, he proved me wrong, At the end of the week they were done and now I have the most beautiful floors! I could not be happier! Brian and his helper were professional and efficient. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again for our other floors.

The crew did an excellent job with great attention to detail. Their workmanship and skill was above and beyond what I expected.
The repair/patching matches perfectly. Sanding was done by hand on our staircase! The threholds are excellent and made by hand.
We plan to have them back to restore our downstair floors.

Brian showed up promptly at the agreed upon date and time. His communication before and during the project was excellent. The first day, the longest work day, He sanded down the floors and began finishing them. He came back a few other mornings through the week for additional staining, etc. The end result was beautiful! The floor looks brand new. I was very impressed with how well they contained the work area. There was no saw dust or fumes present in the house at all. I plan on using him for several other projects in the house. He provides excellent service and workmanship at a reasonable price.

Brian was professional from start to finish. He worked with us to pick the right color stain to use. He was as neat as you can be when the process naturally makes a lot of dust. We were so impressed with the work and the value that we have asked him to do a parquet floor that has stumped others. We had to wait until after the holidays, but am looking forward to getting this work done then.

I had removed the carpet from my living room years ago thinking I would get time to refinish it myself. I had already refinished 3 bedrooms and a large closet in the house, but I never found a good/convenient time. This year however I was stripping wallpaper and painting and decided it was a good time for new flooring. I have linoleum in 4 other rooms excluding the dining room that I was looking to replace. I was looking at wood laminats and thought it wasn't right for me. I came home and started ripping up the linoleum in the dinning room and found a original hardwood floor. How GREAT! I found Brian's number in the yellow pages and called him for an estimate, but because of my work schedule and his he was unable to stop by the house to measure the floors and give me an estimate. We decided I would measure the floors and call him with the measurements, I also gave him a description of the 2 floors. Living room was unfinished and Dining room had glue and paper on it from the old linoleum I tore up. Brian was able to give me an estimate on Sunday and started work on Tuesday, he finished on Friday. He sanded and put 4 coats of fininsh on both floors they turned out WONDERFUL! Brian did a great job he finished when he said he would and his estimate was dead on even though he hadn't seen the condition of the floors. He called me daily to keep me posted on everything. Before he left I had him give me an estimate for four bedrooms that need the floors refinished, 3 of the bedrooms I had done myself 10 years ago and the other has carpet with glue underneath. I look foward to having Brian back he is very professional and knows what he is doing and does it very well. I highly recommend Brian for any of your Flooring needs.

Excellent! Brian communicated through out the entire process. He laid out specific plan of action for the consumer to follow. He touched base with me numerous times through out the 10 week process and physically examined floor 3 separate times prior to beginning restorative work to evaluate the drying out and warping process. I am very pleased with the excellent end results. Brian is: Professional, thorough, pays attention to detail, quality outcomes, excellent communication skill sets, excellent wood restorative skill sets, and personal interaction skill sets, superb customer service. I would highly advise Brian for installation, sanding, refinishing or restorative needs for wood floors.
