Upon having another contractor clean out my spouting, I was told that the roofing material was not applied correctly. He estimated that the roofing material probably did not cost more than $500.00. I was given nothing in writing stating what the warranty on the material is. This contractor also stated that he would have use replaced the roofing material with rubber as opposed to SIS, because a rubber roof has a 25 yr. warranty on it.
The paid bill/estimate stated that he would paint the ceiling. The only painting he did was where he repaired the plaster. The ceiling looks like a checkerboard.
After several attempts and leaving numerous messages, he has never returned my phone calls. That, in itself, tells me that he knows he did not finish the job.
As far as I am concerned, Mr. Miller took advantage of a senior citizen and has never made any attempt to contact me when I questioned whether he was going to finish painting the ceiling in the kitchen. Not only did he not finish the job, but he did not leave the paint the he charged her for so that we could finish the job.
