First I want to explain that I did not hire this business to do the job and that this company's main business is pest control but has a secondary service for tree service. The arborvities belong to my neighbor but they act as a privacy fence between our two properties so we offered to put something towards the cost as an incentive to address the height of these things. We paid $175 of the $375. Being that we partially paid for this, I feel that I have the right to make a comment concerning the job. I want to be clear that the actual person who hired this business to do the job is not making these comments but that person agrees that the job was not that good. The problem with the job is that the height of the cut is not even from end to end. Some places are higher than others and they all need to be the same level. And therein lies the problem. This job was completed nearly 5 weeks ago and after several calls to this business asking them to return and level out the height which, in my opinion, would take approximate 45 minutes, they have not returned even after promising to do so. It is totally irresponsible for a business not to return and correct their mistakes. We are not asking to have the whole job done over. Simply, return and make everything the same height. Pick out a spot that is common down the line and make the whole line that height. Rex Environment Pest Control needed to set a confirmed date to return but has constantly put it off. And I believe that they purposely called the person, who hired them, at 6:15 a.m. one morning as a show of contempt for their calls asking when they are going to return.
