They care about the animals. They're very patient with them. They're very good at appointments.

Their price is fair reasonable. My experience with them was very good. They were very compassionate. They were very good in the interaction with my animal.

The veterinarian is outstanding. The availability for appointments is good. He spends sufficient time with you and explains what he is doing. I have been going there for 40 some odd years that should say something about them. The price is a little high.

My dog was bitten at a kennel and they stapled the wound shut at the kennel, with my permission. The staples did not hold and the wound opened. I made an appointment for the same day and took my dog to Country Doctor Vet and they kept him there and performed surgery later to remove the staples and stitch him up. After a few hours they called to say I could bring him home. It was now 7:00 p.m. but they were still there. My dog was very groggy but happy to come home. He had a good recovery and was running within a week, even before stitch removal. I saw two different doctors, both very professional and competent. Both had a good bedside manner. My dog was not even nervous to return! I plan to make them my regular vet.

We recently moved to the area and obtained our puppy in January. She came to us with Kennel cough and for six weeks she was under antibiotic therapy. It came to having a culture done to determine the organism causing the cough. This was our first interaction with Country Dr. Vet. Hospital and Dr. Kimberly Kish. We were very pleased with her professionalism, care and concern along with her willing to take time to explain to us what was needed for our dog. In May, we had our pup spayed by Dr. Kish and the procedure went flawlessly. The entire team at Country Dr. provides our pet with a warm welcome, lots of care and gentle handling. Even after the procedure, she jumped up on good Dr. and gave her kisses.
We would encourage others to utilize this hospital for their pets. We've been to many over the years and these guys are one of the most caring.

I highly recommend Dr Trexler. I have had lots of experience with her and got to know her over the past two years a little bit closely because of troubles that I had with my 17 years old ailing dog that passed away in May. Dr Trexler helped me through the last two years of her life. She is extremely knowledgeable. She is a walking encyclopaedia. She spends an awful lot of time with her client. She does not watch the clock. She is extremely personable and has very good bed side manner where another vet in the practice who is also very knowledgeable but lacks that social appeal that Dr Trexler excels in. She feels very comfortable with any kind of procedure and I have been through it all. I lost two of my dogs to old age and age related diseases. One was 15 and the other was 17 years old and I have 4 remaining dogs. I have been through everything with her. I just love her. I think she knows every aspect of her work. She is very good with the client. I recommend her highly. I love her so much that I buy her birthday present every year. She is a young girl and she has been at that hospital since she was teenager, apprenticing and starting at the bottom ranks, cleaning kennels and always had a love of animals. She has really worked very hard to get to where she is now. She is worth it. I always complain about their price but everyone in the area seems to be in the same ballpark. When you have a relationship with a vet and someone like me who has a multi pet household with dogs ranging from very old to very young and in between you can't put a price tag on that. It does not matter. You need to have someone that you can trust and who would take ownership. I have asked her what she would do if it was her dog and I trust her. We are on first name basis. I am just the president of her fan club. She is everything I have said and more. She is a decent human being. When I had to put my dog down she was more than compassionate, cried with me, and gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye.

The vet bills add up quite a bit because we have three healthy animals and one with diabetes. She is stable now but it took quite a bit to get there. Everyone there really cares for the animals and they go out of their way to show it. They offer a variety of services, they have a number of physicians, and they are well staffed. They are conveniently located for us and they have boarding in case you need it even if the animal requires injections. I don't really know how their price compares to other vets, but I know that I can get dental cleaning at another vet for a little bit less.
