Tuff-As-Nails Contracting LLC

I can't say enough good things about Tuff as Nails. Hiring them to install new siding and Windows on our home started when I talked with a very friendly and polite member of their crew working on a roof in our neighborhood who recommended I call the owner. When I called Tuff as Nails I had to leave a message and within minutes the owners wife Jennifer called me back. One of Jennifer's first questions to me was how was their crew when I talked to them, I was impressed that she cared about the initial conversation with the crew. Jennifer took all my information and provided an initial quote within days (using satellite). I was interested and LJ, the owner came to my home to met with me. LJ was is a great person, very down to earth, took time to explain things, made recommendations based his experience and promised to get back to me with a revised quote in a few days....and he did! There was some back and forth due to color and manufacturer questions and each time I asked for something else or a change there was never any hesitation and I received updates very quickly. Needless to say I signed a contract and right about the time I was told they would begin they did. The day the crew arrived they were all polite and worked hard all day. We ran into trouble with rotted wood and LJ explained what needed done and what the charge would be, always very fair. What I really liked about LJ is he wanted the job done right, he seemed to genuinely care about my wife and I being 100% sat sides with the work. I never felt they rushed to finish and anytime I had a question it was promptly answered. The project from start to finish was great. With regard to price, we felt the price was very fair for the entire project. Much better than some and right in line with others. I had hoped to have Tuff as Nails do my roof this year but will need to wait until spring, but at least I know who to call. I won't even consider anyone else.

foreman came out to look at my house before giving me an estimate (much appreciated since one company gave me an estimate without even stepping foot on my property). I appreciated the company taking on my small job since not every company will take on smaller jobs. Workmen started my small, but much needed, project within a reasonable timeframe. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and, so far, the new downspouts perform great. The heavy rains of spring will be the real test.

As previously stated, we were having issues with the steps to our deck.
After reviewing several bids, we chose Tuff-As-Nails as they went into great detail about what was wrong with the steps, what caused the issue, and how to repair (two separate options)
They showed up on-time (in miserable weather), were completely thorough and professional, and were finished in a few hours.
We are totally happy with the job that they did and would definitely consider using them again.

They were professional, but friendly. They called like they said would, arrived as scheduled. They cleaned up nicely. The cost was reasonable.

Job was done extremely professional and they went above and beyond what was expected. Did a lot of littel extra things that improved the end product without charging me. Didn't and quot;nickel dime and quot; us.

Very pleasant and professional. Hard workers and very meticulous, as others have noted, and took great care throughout the job and when cleaning up at the end. The references that I called prior hiring Tuff-As-Nails (and prior to my Angie's List membership) also had glowing reviews, and one was a repeat customer several times over. Their prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend and would use again.

It was excellent service. He said if there was any trouble, just to call him. He guarantees his workmanship for five years. They are reasonably priced. They are very meticulous about their work. They went through the yard with a roller machine to pick up nails that had fallen. I have grandkids and pets, so that was great. They cleaned up their work on a daily basis. They were on time.

Excellent work - Home really looks great. Was very professional, did things above and beyond expected cleaned up everything.
