She was very pleased with them. She contacted them and had to leave a message and they contacted her right back. They came out within a week to fix the roof because my brother-in-law was fixing it and he had a stroke. So there was a tarp over it with leakage. It was a necessity and it had to get done right away. She told them that and they said they would be out within a week and they were and they fixed it. The price was very reasonable.

They are nice people, but terrible, terrible, terrible time management skills. I got them over here finally once to look around and this and that. Trying to get them back over was terrible. He took the vent off of my chimney and he was supposed to come back and put it on. They just have absolutely no time management skills at all. I finally had to go with somebody else. He was a nice guy, easy to talk to. You would call them, it would take them forever to get back to you. They would be scheduled to come and then something would happen or this or that. He had a great personality, he was very well spoken, he seemed to be very professional. As far as scheduling the work or getting anything done, nada.

We had been in contact through emails and on the telephone dating over a year. We had come to your home on 4 different occasion to TRY to help you. Any and all of the work that we performed we did for FREE. You had never hired us because you claimed to not have the money to get the work done. I have pictures of you and your grandchildren in my emails that you sent randomly at different times throughout the year. I have spent time on the telephone with you talking about everything besides business. At one point you had asked us to trade you our extra living room furniture for your dining room set. I did not feel that you wanted a business relationship with our company however we still performed work at NO CHARGE for you out of the kindness of our hearts. After over a year of going back and forth on the phone,emails and numerous trips to your home performing work for FREE you informed us that you had hired someone to do work for you. At that point I found no reason to answer your calls any longer so I apologize if you were offended but you had NO right to give us a review on Angie's List due to the fact that you were NEVER a PAYING customer. HE DID WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD, WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD DO IT; COMPLETED THE JOB IN TWO DAYS AND NEVER SUGGESTED, AS IS COMMON WITH MANY CONTRACTORS THAT HE NEEDED ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR SOME UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE.

I contacted MGS for a quote on a roof replacement on a rental unit. They were very punctual in returning my calls and getting to the property to look at the roof to provide an estimate.
I decided to go with MGS for two reasons, the quote was very detailed compared to others and they were reasonably priced. We scheduled quickly and the next thing I knew the roof was complete.
I'm glad I used MGS. The roof looks great!

We hired MGS to do general roof repairs and preventative maintenance on three different properties. One of the properties had current leaks and the other two had prior leaks, but had been repaired by another contractor previously. Scott inspected the roofs on those two and said we needed additional work to ensure we would have no problems. I thought the price Scott quoted was fair and the quality of work performed to be good. Scott was very responsive. After a few months, we got a very hard downpour and one of the roofs had leaking. Scott wasn't available until the next morning, but since we couldn't wait for fear of damage, we called another roofing company to come do emergency repairs. We told Scott what the other company found and asked him to come take a look to make sure there were no other issues and to see the repairs for himself. I really didn't care that a leak happened because I know issues can occur , especially with an older roof. Scott came down, took a look at what was done, and performed some additional work on a parapet wall just to make sure we didn't have any future issues. It was tough to determine why the leak had happened so this work was preventative in nature. He offered to do the work and only charge for materials, which was very fair. The other two roofs have been solid with no issues. It was nice to see that Scott stands behind his work. He will be our roofer for all future projects.

Over all job went smoothly, on task/time and on budget. I appreciate Scott's willingness to do things right and he is detail oreinted which is tough to find in the contracting business.
